Escape From Tarkov Adds Rewards for Tolerating Your Newbie Friends

There are few things more dangerous in Escape From Tarkov than a player who has no idea what they're doing. Sure, you could run into a heavily armed PMC or spend half an hour wondering where the extract is, but at least those problems aren't your friend asking what that weird noise was before immediately running into the middle of a firefight.

Fortunately, Battlestate Games now has a way to make helping those unfortunate newcomers a little more worthwhile!

Escape From Tarkov Wants You to Help Your Friends

The long-awaited 1.2.0.0 update is here, bringing several additions and improvements to Escape From Tarkov, particularly for the PvE experience. According to the game’s official website, one of the biggest additions is the new EXFIL Brothers Program, which is basically the game's way of encouraging veteran players to show newcomers the ropes.

The program works by separating players into two groups. Experienced players with a level 30 character are considered Operators, while players who have started their account within the last seven days are considered Candidates.
