I still remember the first time I heard that baby crying in P.T.. I remember Lisa appearing for the first time, too, and even years later, when I discovered that she could actually follow the player throughout the demo. And as someone who has played more horror games than I can count, I can safely say that it's not exactly easy to leave that kind of impression on me!

But P.T. was different. Hideo Kojima's playable teaser for the now-infamous Silent Hills may have been only a small slice of a game that never actually saw the light of day, but it became one of the most memorable horror experiences of its generation. And yes, I still haven't completely recovered from the fact that Silent Hills was canceled (just give me a second to wipe away these tears).

Unfortunately, the cancellation of the full game also meant that P.T. was eventually removed from the PlayStation Store. That left only the lucky few who had downloaded it back in the day (and, more importantly, never deleted it from their PS4) with an official copy.
