I've now talked about Wyldheart on two occasions, once in March ahead of PAX East, and a second time recently after having played an updated preview build this week.
For those itching to get in on the action for themselves, I've got some good news. Developer Wayfinder Studios and publisher Curve Games have made the first public demo for Wyldheart available now ahead of October's Steam Next Fest.
This Wyldheart demo promises to deliver a taste of what a full campaign will look like, something that I was promised won't require an investment of 100+ hours.
Wayfinder Studios was co-founded by Dennis and Fia Brännvall and Manne Ederyd, industry veterans best known for their time at DICE and Embark. The two dreamed of being able to deliver the magic of an old-school tabletop RPG experience to the video game space. Their goal is to use their knowledge and expertise in AAA development alongside the creativity of a smaller, independent studio.
