Rockstar Has Six Weeks to Stop GTA 6’s Ending From Leaking

Rockstar has spent the better part of two months watching GTA 6 trickle onto the internet in clips. Mission footage, map data and some very unflattering nudity have all made the rounds, and none of it has been stopped. This week, the entity behind it raised the stakes considerably.

CyberLeek now says it will release the entire build of the game. Not more clips, not another poll – the full story mode, “played to the end, credits and all”, according to a statement posted to its website. GTA 6 is still set to launch on November 19, which leaves just under six weeks for this to go very wrong.

The Deal on the Table

The statement lays out two outcomes. If CyberLeek’s cryptocoin reaches a market cap of $30 million, the build goes out. If Take-Two commits to physical discs and issues a public apology, it doesn’t. CyberLeek frames this as Take-Two having “one way out”, one it can take “at any moment”. It also invites doubters to request specific parts of the story mode, which it says it will then provide. The closing line is that everyone knows which option Take-Two will pick.
