Capcom hasn't released DLC for any of its Resident Evil remakes other than RE4, and that was only because Separate Ways was included with the original game already, fleshing out Ada Wong's perspective on the Las Plagas outbreak. However, the studio will reportedly buck that trend with Veronica, developing an original, brand-new DLC for the remake.
"[M-Two/K2] are the ones leading development on RE9's DLC. Which I don't hate, again I think RE3 was a good first RE game for them just a shame it had to be a RE3 Remake but that's more on Capcom, & Separate Ways I think showed improvement from them. I've only heard about one story DLC for Requiem & one story DLC for Veronica," reputable leaker Dusk Golem said on X. "Both are being made to be a few hours long up the alley of Separate Ways & Shadow of Rose however."
