Bloober Team's remake of the original Silent Hill might be closer than we thought. The publisher announced the project last year, but hasn't shown anything beyond a short teaser confirming it exists. There's still no gameplay footage or official release window. Now, a new report suggests the remake could arrive in 2027, with two actors reportedly attached to the project.
According to MP1st, the remake is targeting a launch next year, with Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew reportedly attached to the cast. However, neither Konami nor Bloober Team has confirmed the release window or casting details, so take this all with a grain of salt for now.
Silent Hill Remake Is Reportedly Targeting 2027
Konami announced the remake during its Press Start showcase in June 2025, confirming that Bloober Team would be returning to the series after its work on Silent Hill 2. The reveal amounted to little more than a title card, giving us no indication of what the game might actually look like.
MP1st now reports that 2027 is the current release target, although Konami hasn't committed to that window publicly. The publisher hasn't confirmed which platforms the remake will launch on, either.
