Born in 1922, the Mother of Special Forces made her name as part of the Cobra Unit in World War 2, but her lasting legacy to the world was as an adoptive mother to Naked Snake. This legendary soldier single-handedly changed the course of history, ultimately sacrificing herself in Tselinoyarsk to set up the events of the entire Metal Gear saga.
As is the case with many covert operators, both fictional and real, the exploits of The Boss were not widely known outside of the gray zone where she spent most of her life. After her demise at the hands of Naked Snake, The Boss could finally rest easy, knowing she had fulfilled her duty.
