Kicking off this week's Gamescom, EA and DICE have announced that the Battlefield V open beta will open on September 4th for early access players, and on September 6th for players on Origin PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4.
During open beta, players will be able to check out the Conquest mode on the Rotterdam map and the Arctic Fjord map. The latter will also be available for Grand Operations. Grand Operations is the new multiplayer feature that sees the experience play out across several maps and through different modes. It is designed to provide a "narrative experience inspired by historical events".
Early Access is limited to players who have pre-purchased Battlefield V or who subscribe to EA Access, Origin Access or Origin Access Premier.
