EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield V has been delayed until November 20th. The previous release date was October 16th. DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson wrote on the EA site that the delay is to provide players with "meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience, including adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction".

Gabrielson indicated that the team decided to implement changes after players had had an opportunity to play during both E3 and Gamescom.

"We know moving the launch date means that we all have to wait a little longer. But we're going to take our time to make sure we get it right."
