Although it's certainly a surprise to see a triple-A Star Wars game that doesn't feature a lightsaber-wielding protagonist, the thing that makes Star Wars Outlaws stand out the most is that it's the first open-world game the series has ever had. Well, not including Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and some of the MMOs the franchise has had.

Not only is Outlaws open-world, but it also features a number of different planets to explore. While some of them are original ones that have been created for Outlaws, such as Toshara, there are a few from the movies. The most notable of these is, of course, Tatooine, which has appeared in what feels like every piece of Star Wars media over the past few decades.
Tatooine might have lost its uniqueness a little bit over the years, but it's still a treat to be able to explore it in an open-world...
