Fallout 76 devs have "discussed" plans for more map expansions, following on from the Skyline Valley update. This comes as devs say fans have responded well to the first map expansion, and are eager to see more of what Appalachia has to offer.
This comes from Fallout 76's creative director, Jon Rush, who sat down for an interview with TheGamer at Gamescom this year. Here, Rush gave us an idea of what to expect from Fallout 76 updates going forward, strongly suggesting that we'll get more map expansions in the future.
“Looking at Skyline Valley, I think a big reason that resonated so well with players was because it stayed in Appalachia," says Rush. "Our players love playing on that map, so mutating the map, so to speak, gave them the opportunity to experience more things on that map, to build in more places, to explore more places. [It] gave us a chance to tell a story."
