Xbox Game Pass Adds Its First September Game, and It’s a Day One Launch Title

Star Trucker, a space-based trucking sim developed by Monster and Monster, has been released on Xbox Game Pass today as a day-one release. Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass continues to be a useful way for avid gamers to try out titles they might not otherwise have purchased, perhaps thinking it wasn’t in their wheelhouse. The subscription service offers hundreds of titles, from indie to AAA, and a variety of genres.

Many exciting titles have already been confirmed to be coming to the service this month, and a few of them will make fans of two particular genres very happy to have an Xbox Game Pass subscription in September. For people who enjoy simulation games, Star Trucker will be joined by Expeditions: A MudRunner Game on September 5 and Train Sim World 6 on September 17. Fans of strategy games will be thrilled with the addition of three upcoming Game Pass day-one releases: Age of Mythology: Retold, Frostpunk 2, and Ara: History Untold.

Being able to buy, sell, and haggle over goods can be a rewarding experience in Sci-Fi games and can make resource and item gathering more enjoyable.
