Funko Fusion Adding KFC's Colonel Sanders to Its Roster

Funko Fusion already features plenty of legendary heroes as playable characters, and now KFC’s iconic founder/mascot Colonel Sanders is joining its ranks. Announced back in 2022 and set for release on September 13, Funko Fusion is an action-adventure crossover based on the popular Funko POP figures and contains characters from a variety of Universal-owned properties. Some of these properties include The Walking Dead, Invincible, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, all of which have been featured in video games before.

Additionally, some of Funko Fusion’s playable characters hail from video game franchises like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Team Fortress 2, though the latter has drawn controversy from TF2 fans who would rather Valve focus on updating the main game instead of licensing its characters to other titles. On a much lighter note, the beloved Mega Man will lend his Mega Buster to the battle against Funko Fusion’s villain Eddy, having been confirmed as a playable character in August.
