Today's a monumental day for Bethesda Studios as the XBox One B.E.T.A. (Break It Early Test Application) for Fallout 76 begins today. Developers have acknowledged in a new letter on the company site, that FO76 is unlike any game they've ever made before and that players are sure to encounter some "spectacular issues". The goal is, of course, to find, report and squash the bugs before launch day in November.

We all know with the scale of our games, and the systems we let you use, that unforeseen bugs and issues always come up. Given what we're doing with 76, we know we're opening everyone up to all new spectacular issues none of us have encountered. Some we're aware of, such as areas where performance needs to improve with lots of players. Others, we surely don't. We need your help finding them, and advice on what's important to fix. We'll address all of it, now and after launch.

While XBox One players who pre-purchased Fallout 76 get to start in on B.E.T.A. testing today, PlayStation 4 and PC players will not be entering the game until October 30th.
