After the massive backlash against pay-to-win aspersions in Star Wars: Battlefront 2, EA and Dice have been working hard to ensure no such thing will happen in Battlefield V. To that end, a new blog post has laid out the details on the game's two currencies.

Company Coin is earned by players actually playing the game and completing daily missions, through Career Rank progression, and through the completion of special assignments. This currency can be used to purchase items "outside the base progression paths to further expand and customize your Company. This means players can unlock "choices within weapons and vehicle Specializations". In addition, players can also purchase cosmetic items like "face paint, jackets, and weapon skins".

Battlefield Currency is purchased with real-world money but can only be used to purchase cosmetic items.
