A Baldur's Gate 3 player has discovered a method of spawning an infinite number of summons before the Ketheric Thorm boss fight in Act 2. In a Reddit thread showing off their discovery, the player reported summoning 87 zombies before the fight. Another player found this exploit almost a year ago, but their post didn't get as much attention.
The method involves using the nautiloid restoration pod in the Mind Flayer Colony. As always, the pods restore health, spell slots, superiority die and so on. However, this specific area also grants the party Rejuvenating Miasma, a passive that allows you to raise thralls without nearby corpses.
In addition, the Fungal Infestation spell available to Circle of the Spores Druids doesn't have a cap on how many summons you can spawn. This was probably an oversight as Fungal Infestation operates on its own resource and Larian likely didn't consider what would happen if players could constantly refresh this resource.
The combination of this spell and the nautiloid restoration pod means the player can continuously summon Fungal Zombies. In the screenshot provided by the player, you can see a group of zombies surrounding the party as they prepare to enter the boss...
