One of the scariest games of 2023 is coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles this month. 2024's spooky season is stacked with horror game releases, ranging from the high-profile Silent Hill 2 remake and Alan Wake 2 DLC to unique indies like Zoochosis. However exciting these new titles may be, there will inevitably be a number of overnight successes and surprise reveals. One of those brings last year's creepiest viral horror game to a wider audience this October.
Amanda the Adventurer will be available on PlayStation and Xbox starting October 10, according to a new trailer shared on publisher DreadXP's YouTube channel. Initially released as a PC exclusive on April 25, 2023, it was later ported to Switch consoles that September. Now, almost a year and a half later, the throwback horror game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. That'll come along with a major update for the Switch port, including graphical, performance, and gameplay improvements.
