Oh, Alfira. It's impossible not to fall in love with this delightful bard when you first meet her early on in Baldur's Gate 3. However, if you're playing as The Dark Urge, you won't want her to get too close to you.
Spoilers for The Dark Urge run of Baldur's Gate 3 ahead.
For some reason, Alfira decides that The Dark Urge is a very trustworthy and safe person to hang around, and will join your camp in Act 1. She doesn't last long at all though, and gets slaughtered by the player as soon as you long rest. There is a way to save her, but it's a bit annoying to set up and involves attacking her completely unprompted when you first meet her. So, a modder has made it a lot easier for everyone.
Save Alfira from Nexus Mods user TLG53787 does exactly that. It stops Alfira from ever turning up at your camp, meaning she avoids The Dark Urge's wrath. However, someone has to die still, so it instead spawns in the bard Quil Grootslang, a backup character who turns up in the base game if Alfira is either killed already or knocked out.
You'll still...
