At launch, a PS5 with a disc drive cost a whopping $499.99, while the all-digital version set customers back $399.99. In November 2023, Sony released the PS5 Slim in two versions like the original, which many hoped would be priced cheaper. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, and many eager to dive into some of the best PS5 games on the market once again felt priced out. Now, a new move by Sony will make it possible to snag one of these popular machines for a hefty discount.
