After more than six years, Sea of Thieves has finally added the ability to crouch to the game. Although being able to bend their knees may seem trivial, players have been requesting this feature for nearly a decade. Today, they finally get their wish, as Rare adds crouching to the popular pirate multiplayer.
The good news was shared on the Sea of Thieves YouTube, in a hilarious short announcement video. The video shows the camera zooming in on a Sea of Thieves character standing around as white text on a red background states dramatically: "After 6 years, 6 months and 27 days... you can now crouch in Sea of Thieves." The character then pops a squat amid a splash of confetti.
Fans of the game are ecstatic at this addition, with players like netherwarrior6113 exclaiming gleefully: "MY KNEES WILL SUFFER NO MORE!!!!!" Others call this addition revolutionary, while YouTube user g_raffthearchlich quips "Oh thank ramsey I've been playing this standing up the whole time."
