Bloober Team Is "Open" To Making More Silent Hill Games

Bloober Team director and designer Wojciech Piejko has confirmed that the developer is "always open" to making more Silent Hill games, whether that be remakes or a brand-new entry.

W/hen it was first revealed that Bloober Team would be developing the recently-released remake of Silent Hill 2, it's fair to say that most fans weren't exactly pleased. Although Bloober has plenty of experience with the genre, its previous games like Layers of Fear and The Medium weren't exactly subtle with their themes and scares, a necessity for Konami's iconic psychological horror.

Without James Sunderland at the centre, this survival horror masterpiece would fall flat.

As the last few weeks have taught us, though, we could have all done with having a bit more faith, as the Silent Hill 2 remake has been very positively received all around by both newcomers and long-term fans. That success could pave the way for more remakes in the future, as Bloober Team's director has confirmed the developer is "always open" to more Silent Hill.
