It's been a while since we've last had a goodTransformers game. Like a really long time. Because High Moon Studios' excellent Fall of Cybertron was released in 2012, and with us being in the latter half of 2024, we're closer to 2032 than we are to 2012.
However, it appears that Transformers might finally be on the verge of getting a quality game. And while it isn't exactly the Triple-A cinematic escapade we all dream of, it seems to be taking cues from a breakout hit — Vampire Survivors.
As first spotted on ResetEra, Tomy Games has officially revealed Transformers Multi Shock. It's an action shooter set from a top-down perspective with gameplay that looks eerily similar to that of Vampire Survivors. Only except instead of vampire adjacent characters, it's the Autobots and Decepticons that make up the world of Transformers.

Per a separate discovery on that same ResetEra thread, more details about Transformers Multi Shock have been unearthed. It's being described as a "Metallic Rogue-like RPG," that features "clear rules" from the rogue-like genre.
