The Sims 4 may be well into its fifth year of existence, but that doesn't mean Maxis is in any way ending its support. In fact, in the latest "Maxis Monthly," devs laid out the details for a number of pretty sweet changes coming to the game starting this week!
First off the bat, the box art has been updated with a fresh new collection of Sims that are the new "face" of the game. It's a much more diverse group that will showcases "new life, new energy". In addition, both the main menu and loading screen have been given a fresh coat of paint.
The other really cool feature coming out is the "Create-A-Sim Story" that is purely optional. It allows players to "infuse personality" by answering ten questions about their nascent Sim. Any question can be skipped, but once the quiz is complete, aspirations, traits, career, skills, and starting funds are assigned, though these cannot be changed.
Also coming to The Sims:
- over a thousand new objects in the Build & Buy category.
- Island Living coming to console on July 16th
The new patch update is going to start rolling out on Tuesday, July 16th! Be sure to log in and check it out.
