Worlds Part 1 overhauled the sea and the sky, Aquarius added fishing, and the latest expedition, The Cursed, added oft-requested spooky vibes to the game. As part of The Cursed update, Hello Games sneakily snuck in No Man's Sky's PlayStation 5 Pro features, which were actually discovered a while back.
Thanks to the PlayStation's new Spectral Super Resolution, the game will now comfortably run at 4K/60fps. The update will also enable the developers to "ramp up the graphical quality across the board," improving the lighting with ultra-quality reflections and higher-quality ambient occlusion. This will also be reflected in the PSVR2.
