Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has finally received its first update since launching in September, with one of the main additions being a "Casual" difficulty mode that makes things even easier.

Considering how long Dead Rising fans spent thinking that the series was six feet under for good, it's a little wild to think that it was finally revived a few months ago with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Time has really sped by since the digital version of the game released, and it's finally being met with a physical edition that just dropped today.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the best way to play Frank West’s adventure, but I’ll never forget my first time.

Alongside releasing outside of digital storefronts, Capcom also finally dropped the first patch for the game, which aims to fix a number of bugs, add support for the PS5 Pro, and more. While it's already good news that Dead Rising is getting some extra attention after launch, there's one more particularly interesting thing about the patch - a new difficulty mode.
