Overwatch 2 recently announced a new trailer would be airing on November 11 that is seemingly announcing something related to the original game. Though fans can only speculate as to what is in store for them now, hints from Overwatch 2 suggest there may be a retro game mode coming soon, or possibly even an Overwatch Classic.
Recently, Overwatch 2 announced the return of 6v6 in the form of a couple of tests taking place some time after Season 14 begins on December 10. This will be the first time 12 players can take to the field at once in a normal match since the original Overwatch shut down.
Overwatch 2's 6v6 tests are going live this December, and its level of success could determine the fate of the game's current 5v5 format.
However, it seems like Overwatch 2 might be planning something even bigger pertaining to the first game soon. The official Overwatch YouTube channel recently scheduled a trailer to air on November 11 at 9 AM PST. The posting reveals almost no information, save a thumbnail featuring what seems to be new art of Tracer in her classic Overwatch 1 design....
