Marvel Rivals has been going from strength to strength ever since it launched earlier this month, with over ten million people downloading the title on its launch weekend. There have been a few hiccups along the road, such as the lack of role queues and the pain in the butt that is Iron Fist, but it's generally regarded as a great game and a potential Overwatch competitor.
Of course, we've yet to see if the game has staying power, but it seems as though NetEase is doing its best to make Marvel Rivals a live service title worth keeping around. Despite only having launched a couple of weeks ago, Marvel Rivals is already getting its first seasonal event, as The Winter Celebration is bringing some festive additions to the game.
We'll start off with the big addition, and that's a brand-new game mode called Jeff's Winter Splash Festival, which is a mode that has teams of four all playing as Jeff the Land Shark. Obviously inspired by Splatoon, it's your job to cover the arena in as much of your team's color of snow as possible, all while taking out enemy Jeffs along the way.
