Forever Ago’s greatest strength is the deeply human relationship between Alfred and Audrey. Their quiet conversations explore loss, regret, aging, and the importance of moving forward, supported by lovely art direction and a thoughtful soundtrack. The simple gameplay, occasional interaction issues, and limited sense of road-trip freedom keep the journey from reaching its full potential, and there’s little reason to return after the credits. Still, its emotional story leaves a lasting impression.

A monumental, content-packed gateway to the Xehanort Saga, with thrilling combat and smooth PS5 performance. Newcomers get an essential journey; returning fans, however, will find little reason to buy it again—and the lack of Portuguese localization is a major disappointment.

AION 2 impresses with a massive, visually striking world that makes flight essential to exploration, but its strengths are held back by underwhelming combat and a confusing story. Aggressive monetization limits basic features and progression behind subscriptions and passes, while the lack of regional pricing makes them especially costly for South American players. In its current state, it’s best suited to those willing to pay for the monthly subscription.

Galactic Racer makes every race matter with a clever risk-and-reward campaign, responsive arcade handling, varied vehicles, and thrilling high-speed battles. Its distinctive planets, immersive sound, and smooth 60fps performance make the first journey a blast. The roguelite structure loses steam after the campaign, though, and repeated runs offer too little variety. Still, the racing is strong enough to keep you chasing one more win.

After years away from Ace Combat, returning with Wings of Theve feels like rediscovering an old favorite in spectacular form. Its gorgeous skies, accessible arcade dogfighting, stirring soundtrack, and massive battles make the series’ familiar formula thrilling again. Yet uneven pacing, repetitive objectives, and story interruptions keep its new ideas from feeling revolutionary. Still, when the action clicks, Ace Combat 8 delivers an exhilarating comeback.

An atmospheric, beautifully optimized return to the series’ roots, E-Day pairs a memorable Emergence Day story with satisfying co-op, detailed environments, and excellent PC performance. Its familiar cover-based combat still hits hard, but bullet-sponge enemies, an underwhelming arsenal, and unreliable squad AI hold the campaign back. Even so, it’s a strong prequel and an easy recommendation for Gears fans—especially through Game Pass.

Minecraft Dungeons II expands the original with a connected open world, deeper equipment customization, and plenty of room to explore beyond the main campaign. The new Sift dimension, co-op for up to four players, and tougher endgame events add welcome possibilities, while familiar dungeon-crawling combat remains at its core. Repetition can set in after the first run, and occasional bugs frustrate, but it’s a solid sequel.

CONTROL Resonant takes a bold step beyond the Oldest House, putting Dylan at the center of a paranormal crisis in a warped Manhattan. Its inventive environments, fluid movement, and more physical combat give the sequel a distinct identity, while the mystery and eerie sound design preserve the series’ appeal. Some encounters grow repetitive, and the city can’t quite match the original’s claustrophobic atmosphere, but Remedy’s willingness to experiment makes this a memorable evolution of CONTROL.

Dune: Awakening makes Arrakis feel like a world to survive in, not just a setting to explore. Its alternate timeline gives players room to shape their own story, while the harsh desert, satisfying progression, and atmospheric presentation capture the spirit of Dune. The grind can drag, combat lacks polish, and technical issues still surface, but building a life on Arrakis, and seeing its vast landscapes from an ornithopter, makes the journey worthwhile
