Critic Reviews for Frosthaven
Frosthaven has been a fun time to play, with no bugs to speak of. The visuals are clean from the simple map you see on the over world, to the isometric battle fields you fight on. You can tell the devs put a lot of time into making the world feel as real as possible. And the sounds are crisp, not to mention that the narration for the events and fights are beautiful.
I believe FROSTHAVEN is worthwhile for anyone who enjoys turn-based strategy, but it will certainly be most valuable for those who have played and enjoyed the tabletop version and want to see how everything works in motion, in a digital version. If that's you, go for it without hesitation.

Frosthaven is, by all accounts, an excellent digital adaptation of one of the most complex and acclaimed cooperative board games of recent years. Version 1.0 marks the end of an early access period that lasted over a year, making the entire campaign and all planned content available. The difficulty remains high, but the numerous customization options allow you to tailor the challenge to your needs. Frosthaven is a deep, content-rich strategic experience that will undoubtedly delight fans, but those new to board games will face a fairly steep learning curve and need to be prepared to learn many complex mechanics.

Frosthaven does more than its predecessor and does it better, but it's still a game that feels like it hates you a little.
