Star Fox on the Switch 2 is certainly the definitive version of the single-player game. The controls, visuals, sounds, and overall experience are impeccable. On the other hand, the playtime is quite limited by current standards. Four to six hours are more than enough to exhaust the campaign content.

The premise is good, New Edinburgh is an interesting setting, and the relationship with Aurora leads to tense decisions. The campaign also presents a different kind of crisis, mixing famine, energy, war, and volcanic threat. However, I wouldn't call this DLC indispensable or even unmissable. It's short, linear, and doesn't significantly expand the base game.
