Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster brings some interesting ideas, mainly in the use of transformations and animal-related powers. However, these are ultimately hampered by an execution that falls short in fundamental aspects of a Metroidvania game, such as combat, progression, exploration, and enemy variety.

HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush was a pleasant surprise. I went in without being very familiar with the previous games in the franchise and found an arcade game that truly understands the fantasy of playing with these toy cars.

8.5 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 27
Sep 4, 2026

EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 is definitely worth it, especially for fans of the sport who play Franchise Mode. If you're one of those who spend more time assembling rosters, negotiating contracts, managing the offseason, and trying to build your team, this edition has a lot to offer.

For motorsport fans, especially those passionate about rally racing, it's a title that's still worthwhile for offering what ViJuDa does best: a huge love for cars and arcade racing games, but its problems should still be considered before purchase.

8.5 / 10.0 - Orbitals
Sep 1, 2026

It's just over six hours of extremely enjoyable co-op, presented like an anime we can control, and accompanied by one of the best soundtracks I've heard recently in a game of this type. It doesn't need to be the new Split Fiction. Being Orbitals already works quite well.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is a game with diverse ambitions that, to varying degrees, manages to deliver on its promises. Furthermore, it achieves an interesting balance between two layers that might seem weak on their own, but ultimately succeed when combined.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is not just a tribute to a classic franchise, a legendary character, a memorable actor, and a rich culture like the Japanese one. It feels much more like the beginning of a new phase. If this is indeed the path Capcom intends to follow, bring on more demons.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is well worth playing for those who enjoy narrative RPGs, dark fantasy, vampires, difficult choices, and open worlds populated and created with personality. It has the kind of adventure that makes the player think about a quest while away from their PC or console.

I don't consider Man of Honor a bad deal for those who enjoyed The Old Country and want to spend a few more hours with Enzo, Cesare, and company. For longtime Mafia fans, Salieri alone offers some intrigue. Just don't expect an expansion capable of changing your opinion about the base game. Man of Honor is more of the same, and when it finally threatens to be more than that, it ends.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 manages to deliver exactly what we expect from a good cooperative game in the franchise: lots of bullets, Xenomorphs coming from all sides, classes that really make a difference, and that delicious feeling that any dark corridor could turn into our last moment of life.

IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator is one of those experiences that's difficult to recommend to just anyone, but very easy to suggest to the right audience. If you enjoy simulators, systems games, machines, alternate history, dieselpunk, solving complex problems, and deliberately slow-paced experiences, you'll probably find something here that you'll enjoy.

HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon, ladies and gentlemen, is a pretty cool little game that manages to deliver what we expect from the genre while also bringing some of its own ideas and executing them very well, despite a few minor slips here and there.

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters manages to do exactly what a good sequel should do: evolve the gameplay without losing the identity that made the franchise win over generations.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is an excellent adventure and a rather courageous departure for a franchise that could have simply repeated a formula that has already worked twice.

7.7 / 10.0 - Aggelos 2
Aug 25, 2026

The game delivers two large, parallel, and interconnected worlds, full of challenges, secrets, and passages that spark that constant curiosity to explore "just one more corner." And best of all, this exploration always rewards the player, whether with gems, upgrades, or shortcuts that make all the difference on the journey.

6.8 / 10.0 - Apidya' Special
Aug 24, 2026

Apidya’ Special is a fitting tribute to those who spent hours enduring their internships on the Amiga rocket in the 90s. Sharpen your reflexes and embark on this journey, because the bees of Hezaae will show you no mercy.

8.3 / 10.0 - Gallipoli
Aug 23, 2026

Gallipoli is worthwhile for those who enjoy historical FPS games, with a more tactical pace and weapons that demand patience and technique rather than skill. It's not a game for those who want modern action, constant running, deceptive slides, supernatural jumps, easy aiming, and rewards every five seconds. It's tougher, slower, and less interested in being just another FPS. Here, it tries to blend a bit of simulation with the end-game experience, something that works well.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 preserves better than it modernizes. That phrase probably best summarizes my experience with the collection. The stories remain excellent and represent some of the most important moments in Metal Gear. Especially Metal Gear Solid 4, which finally ceases to be limited to the PlayStation 3 after so many years.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope is a fitting expansion for a game that has been getting better and better with time. Even though it has some minor flaws here and there, I feel it was time well spent and an excellent addition for anyone starting or continuing their adventures in the Zone.

7.8 / 10.0 - Twisted Tower
Aug 18, 2026

Twisted Tower features a theme that kept me extremely immersed from beginning to end. The puzzles scattered throughout the environments were also a great success and kept me interested in discovering what awaited me in each new room at all times.
