Valor Mortis is a game full of highs and lows. While the story didn't impress me, I quite enjoyed the gameplay flow, especially the boss battles, which represent some of the best moments of the experience. However, I feel that the biggest battle of my journey ended up being against the game itself, which, for much of the time, simply refused to function as it should.

NBA 2K27 presents noticeable advancements in what I consider the core of the experience. The pace of the matches, the defense, and the importance of physical contact make the games better, while MyPLAYER demands builds with their own identity. MyNBA has also gained reasons to keep management fans busy for quite some time. The Brazilian translation completes this set of successes. At the same time, recurring problems remain difficult to ignore. The slow progression, the weight of the VC (Vendor Control), and the movement around The City wear down an experience that could be much more straightforward. The visual presentation remains excellent, but those expecting a graphical transformation will have little reason to be surprised.

Hellraiser: Revival understands very well what makes the universe created by Clive Barker so unique. Between pain, pleasure, violence, and a good dose of strangeness, the game doesn't try to soften its themes to reach a wider audience. And perhaps that's precisely where its greatest merit lies: knows that not everyone will like what it has to offer, but it also doesn't seem willing to give up its identity to please everyone.

Neon Abyss 2 works best when you accept that its premise is much closer to playing with different combinations and becoming increasingly powerful than to facing a truly demanding challenge. If that idea sounds fun to you, you'll probably find it a very enjoyable experience.

For those who already enjoyed this formula, Norgan has a lot to offer. Silver Pines is an excellent survival horror game. Although it falters in some aspects of its narrative development, the game masterfully leverages its greatest strength: adding Metroidvania-style exploration to a combination of ideas that were already very good on their own.

The recommendation for this collection will depend on the customer's history. If you already own these games on other platforms, the purchase ends up having little added value in comparison. But, if it's your first experience with this universe, it becomes very, very easy to recommend and suggest that you dive in without thinking twice.

The separation between Authentic and Competitive modes was also an excellent decision. For me, it's perhaps one of the greatest qualities of this edition. Authentic offers slower, heavier, and more imperfect football, with difficult ball control, less explosive players, and more space for build-up play. It feels like a real attempt at simulation, something I really enjoy. Competitive, on the other hand, maintains what Ultimate Team needs to be for its audience: fast, direct, and more arcade-like. They are such different experiences that, at times, they feel like two separate games.

Way of the Hunter 2 is a more ambitious and complete sequel in several aspects, but it still doesn't perfectly balance realism, pacing, and convenience. Therefore, if you lack patience and want something action-packed, this is definitely not the game for you.

End of Abyss is an interesting game, with a good central idea and enough personality to find its audience, especially among players who enjoy exploration, resource management, and experiences that aren't afraid of a challenge. I just don't recommend starting a session after a heavy lunch on a workday. The abyss has no regard for the salaried worker.

EA SPORTS NHL 27 remains a great hockey game (perhaps the only one), but a sequel that's too conservative. It's fun to glide across the ice and there are good ideas in the new tactical identity of the teams, but the constant feeling of playing something too similar to the previous edition prevents a higher score.
