Knights of Pen and Paper 2 checks all the right marks for proper port from smartphones to PC including remastered graphics, mouse and keyboard support, and including all the previously released content for a single, low price. Unfortunately, the game can't completely avoid its roots as a smartphone game with gameplay that is best enjoyed in short spans. While it might not be the most complex role-playing game available, it's a worthwhile and entertaining purchase for players eager to set out on a casual fantasy adventure.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below is a wonderful effort by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force. The visuals, the gameplay, the audio, all aspects of this game come together to make an unforgettable experience that any fan of the Dragon Quest franchise should not miss.

While Coast Guard is marketed as providing a thrilling and exciting simulation and adventure experience, the actual narrative and gameplay couldn't be further from the truth. Issues ranging from uninteresting and boring gameplay to a story that doesn't make much sense make Coast Guard a truly difficult experience to play through. Coast Guard isn't worth your time or money.

Divinity: Original Sin knows when to be whimsical, and when to take its strategic gameplay seriously. The trade-offs can be heavy. The penalties are stiff. The payoffs feel great. Old school role-playing game fans: There's a lot here for you to take in. It'll often fascinate and it'll occasionally frustrate. Getting into Original Sin's groove is a great niche to find yourself in. This Enhanced Edition on PS4 is indeed better in many, many ways.

When the pedal is to the floor, its a great experience. However as soon as you let up and are left to explore the other aspects of the game, things start leaving a lot to be desired. The new direction of the franchise shows promise, but there is still a ton of room to grow.

Fans of the series will probably get a kick out of the use of the source material but it's hard to recommend this game to anyone but said fans of the source material. For everyone else, it's repetitive and probably isn't at the level of depth that most fighting games offer these days.

Yes, things feel a bit different this time around but do yourself a favor and give it a chance. Once you find the groove in Guitar Hero Live, which is the new GHTV mode, you won't look back or think about the way things used to be again. This is the future of guitar-themed video games.

With beautiful surroundings, a renewed focus on stealth and use of surroundings, and a fantastic story that will grip you, Lara Croft's latest chapter in the reboot will keep you entertained for hours upon hours and only make you want to keep trying to unlock every last secret.

The game builds upon previous series installments by refining the gameplay to further improve its best elements. In particular, the addition of the Arctic and Moon environments provide the series' best-yet sandboxes for building cities. City-building fans can rejoice: Anno 2205 is the next game they need to pick up.

With 21 authentic tracks to choose from and over 450 cars to unlock, Forza 6 has knocked it out of the park to provide gamers with an amazing experience from start to finish. Whether with the xbox controller or a steering wheel, there's so much to enjoy that you'll forget just how much time you put in.

Rebel Galaxy is one of the best space games released in some time, both in terms of its vast content and that its low price that won't break your wallet. A slow beginning to the game and over reliance on grinding shouldn't deter gamers in experiencing everything that Rebel Galaxy has to offer to eager space going adventurers. It's difficult not to smile as your ship zooms across space, taking in the star-filled view, and listening to the Firefly inspired soundtrack.

All those stripped out game modes are back and they're just as fun as they should be. Gameplay is better than its ever been for both veterans and rookies while the presentation is spot-on and a pleasure to take in. There's no denying that the NHL franchise is back to where it should be.
