A more-than-competent loot-based action RPG with some interesting ideas

Yakuza 6 is a fitting end to a great saga, with fantastic combat and lots to do outside the main story

Ten years on, this is still one of the best arcade racers out there. Hours will be lost just flying around the map being a nuisance, and a few old fashioned decisions won't dampen the excitement from playing a game this fast and furious.

While it looks lovely and isn't a bad game by any means, Star Allies is aimed at a very specific age group, and most others will find it far too easy and, sadly, rather dull.

While TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge accurately captures the sense of speed as you barrel down the country lanes of the iconic circuit, its twitchy handling undoes the experience entirely.

H1Z1 may well have been inspired by the original version of PUBG, and it shows, but in Auto Royale it provides one of the most fun battle royale modes out there.

The opening episode isn't exactly the most gripping of affairs, as this slow burning, political drama takes a while to get going and isn't helped by poor presentation and dull puzzles. But there is potential here for an interesting story to be told in future episodes.

Metal Gear Survive is alright. It strikes such an almost perfect balance between mind-numbing tedium and rage-tinted fun that if you're willing to let it take you, there's a very compelling experience under all the brown and grey textures - just don't expect it to do justice to the franchise under which it shuffles.

One of the best strategy games on the market, bringing a unique sense of fun to the genre. A must-play title.
