God is a Geek's Reviews

9 / 10.0 - F1 2019
Jun 21, 2019

With the inclusion of F2 and an even more comprehensive career mode, F1 2019 is the biggest game in the series to date and quite possibly the best.

Despite Larry himself not changing in thirty years, Wet Dreams Don't Dry still feels relevant, self-aware and has some decent puzzles for fans of the genre too.

9 / 10.0 - My Friend Pedro
Jun 20, 2019

It's over too soon, but while it lasts My Friend Pedro is a unique, likeable shooter and some of the best fun I've had in a while.

A marriage made in heaven, Cadence of Hyrule is a toe-tapping, monster slaying groove-fest

Jun 18, 2019

A fast-paced twin-stick shooter that doesnt do a lot to stand out but offers a blast of fun in short doses

7 / 10.0 - Mini-Mech Mayhem
Jun 18, 2019

Miniature mechs minus the mayhem, Futurlab's newest is bursting with tactical depth, yet lacking in variety.

Jun 17, 2019

Everybody's Golf VR offers the same gentle style of golf that the previous entry had, and the golf feels pretty realistic. Unfortunately, there's a lack of modes and limited variety of courses that bring the overall experience down.

Jun 17, 2019

Trover Saves the Universe is a very funny adventure game that doesn't offer the same brand of gameplay as Astro Bot Rescue Mission, but Justin Roiland's humour makes it much more appealing.

7.5 / 10.0 - Home Sweet Home
Jun 13, 2019

While Home Sweet Home doesn't bring anything new to the table for first person horror puzzlers, it does stand out with the inclusion of Thai horror folklore which is truly terrifying. It's let down with a couple of bugs but it's not a bad way to spend a few hours.

6.5 / 10.0 - Cricket 19
Jun 13, 2019

Cricket fans would be batty to miss out on this, but they should go in aware that things could still be better.

9 / 10.0 - Tetris 99
Jun 9, 2019

If you're after a royale-y good time you should look much farther than Tetris 99.

8 / 10.0 - Unruly Heroes
Jun 6, 2019

Unruly Heroes is a beautiful, fun and engaging platformer with enough charm and replayability to make it a solid recommendation to anyone.

7 / 10.0 - Gato Roboto
Jun 6, 2019

Gato Roboto is a short, sharp burst of Metroid fun, with cats. It sounds daft, but strong level design and a few original tweaks make it well worth a look.

9 / 10.0 - Slay The Spire
Jun 4, 2019

Mick Fraser: "Slay the Spire is a hugely enjoyable single-player deck-builder that feels genuinely unique in its genre."

Jun 4, 2019

If you're after a fairly enjoyable loot-chaser to work out some of that daily stress, Chaosbane is worth a look.

Jun 4, 2019

Project Nimbus is a solid if unspectacular mecha action game that's packed with content for a reasonable price.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dauntless
Jun 3, 2019

Mick Fraser: "The variety of bosses is strong and the combat/reward loop is wonderfully addictive. If nothing else, the fact that every Behemoth, armour set and weapon can be unlocked without spending a penny makes it well worth checking out."

8 / 10.0 - Blood & Truth
May 28, 2019

Blood and Truth is a lot of fun, making use of a wide range of guns and all of the Move controller's capabilities.

8.5 / 10.0 - Void Bastards
May 28, 2019

Void Bastards is a fantastic strategic shooter than has a wonderfully refreshing take on the FPS genre.

7 / 10.0 - Rage 2
May 27, 2019

Whilst Rage 2 offers an intense wave of combat, the open world is dull, and the story and missions rarely excite
