2 / 10.0 - Randall
Jun 19, 2017

Randall is buggy, loose, and unresponsive, but worst of all a completely boring platformer that isn't worth your time.

9 / 10.0 - Nex Machina
Jun 19, 2017

New Machina is shoot-em-up kings Housemarque's latest game, and it might just be their best. A top-down Resogun that takes all that was good from that, improves on it and then adds so much more. Tight and responsive controls and great visuals make up for some exhilarating action.

6 / 10.0 - Crossout

With its fun gameplay and interesting take on the online shooter genre, Crossout is a decent idea that sadly lacks depth.

It's great to see this series on the PlayStation 4, and you'd be daft not to give it a go. Fantastic track design, a stunning soundtrack, and plenty of game modes makes this one of the best racers out there.

Come for the historical Japanese setting and story, stay for the pleasing, fast-paced combat. Spirit of Sanada puts combat, its best asset, front-and-centre, and it pays off.

7 / 10.0 - Tokyo 42
May 31, 2017

Whilst some of the gun mechanics don't work as well as they should, there's still lots of missions, customisation, and a cracking electronic soundtrack in the vein of Hotline Miami.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles is a great showcase of how a much beloved series has evolved over nearly a decade. It still has some great moments and can still feel fresh and exciting, but those moments cant hold back the slump into grinding repetition most matches end up being.

6 / 10.0 - Impact Winter
May 30, 2017

It's not terrible, but it's also a hard one to recommend, and I get the feeling it's one that we may revisit in the future and update the score for, when it's all patched and tightened up.

Even if you're not a Star Trek fan this is still a game worth considering, especially if you're after a social virtual reality experience. Just try not to become a redshirt.

As far as finales go, From the Gallows is pretty good. There are some great interactions between the brothers, only let down by the treatment of one of the character's deaths.
