Fans of the original Talisman board game may find the Digital Edition enjoyable, but the fact that so many characters are locked behind microtransactions, and the overall experience often amounts to a high-speed gankfest, I find it hard to recommend Talisman to anyone but the hardcore fanbase.

7 / 10.0 - Moons of Madness
Mar 24, 2020

An unsettling and beautiful experience, with a pace that's just too slow. If you can get past the walls of text and all too familiar puzzles though, Moons of Madness is good for a few scares.

6.5 / 10.0 - Iron Danger
Mar 24, 2020

Iron Danger as an experience relies so heavily on the time-travel combat mechanic that it doesn't really present you with much besides that. Everything else is a little bit bare bones.

While I wouldn't call Saints Row IV: Re-elected "essential", it's absolutely worth a look if you like your fun loud and just a little bit irreverent.

Warlords of New York proves to be an enticing and rewarding addition to one of last year's best shooters, and is certainly worth a return trip to Manhattan.

8 / 10.0 - Yes, Your Grace
Mar 21, 2020

Yes, Your Grace tells a decent story in an enjoyable way, and there's really nothing else like it outside of a certain fantasy TV show with a terrible ending

10 / 10.0 - Persona 5 Royal
Mar 17, 2020

For those that have already enjoyed the original game, this is a fan's dream, with everything you could wish for and more, with nearly every aspect improved upon. A spellbinding videogame, and one that deserves to be spoken about in reverential terms for many years to come.

9.5 / 10.0 - DOOM Eternal
Mar 17, 2020

Doom Eternal is loud, brash, hellishly violent, and 100% entertainment. It might not be the perfect video game, but it absolutely is the perfect Doom game.

A World Betrayed is a decent DLC offering for Total War: Three Kingdoms, offering some interesting new content. However, it doesn't seem to quite land as sweetly as previous DLC.

8.5 / 10.0 - ibb & obb
Mar 15, 2020

A simple, fun and charming co-op experience with a variety of clever gravity defying obstacles to overcome. If you can find a willing participant who can handle the immediate difficulty, you'll have a great time bouncing off each other.

6.5 / 10.0 - Dead or School

If you enjoy gameplay focussed experiences and can tolerate some jank, Dead or School will be worth getting when it drops in price.

My Hero One's Justice 2 is an incredibly fun and over the top anime fighting game, with a ton of modes to play. Although there's not been a massive amount of new content added since it's predecessor, the combat is good enough to keep you coming back for more

5 / 10.0 - Alder’s Blood
Mar 14, 2020

While it does show glimpses of its potential, the mixture of unnecessarily difficult gameplay and overwhelming management systems make Alder's Blood a game solely for masochists.

Hidden Through Time is an absolute gem of a game. The basic idea is simple but couple that with the scale of the levels and some of the obscure hints it'll provide plenty of hours of hide and seek fun. A must have for anyone looking for something a little different to get lost in.

For anyone craving a test of their mettle in bite-sized chunks and lacquered over with Team Ninja's trademark combat genius, Nioh 2 is utterly essential.

Rune Factory 4 Special is a delightful game with a ton of content to keep you busy, despite feeling a little overwhelming in the beginning. Good localisation and post-game content around character episodes and a Newly-wed mode will please returning fans.

An amusing and charming figher RPG with some very unique elements. If you are able to overlook some of the combat's shortcomings, getting to play as Saitama will make it all worthwhile
