Sony has impressed with their recent PC ports, but something has gone awry with 'The Last of Us Part 1'. This is of the most highly regarded franchises in gaming, but this port is a buggy mess that crashes constantly and requires hours of set-up before playing. Avoid until major patches arrive, and even then, you should remain skeptical.

Marvel's Midnight Suns' Morbius DLC isn't bad, but it pales in comparison to the Venom and Deadpool add-ons and shamelessly recycles content. While Morbius is a fun character, he adds nothing new to battles. If there's one episode to skip, this is it.

The remake cranks the ambiance up to a 12, and tension serves as a constant companion while you make your way through the game's gorgeously rejuvenated world.

WWE 2K23 stumbles slightly with occasional glitches and a mode or two that doesn't quite hit the mark, but it ends strong with stellar gameplay, a captivating MyRise/GM Mode one-two punch, and a brutal, chaotic inclusion of WarGames that simply says, "Acknowledge Me."

Bungie's latest expansion elevates Destiny 2's power fantasy to a new high and carves a more clear and concise path to its endgame than ever before. Despite a campaign that lets down fans of a narrative nearly a decade in the making, it still reigns as one of the best looter shooters out there.

Venom has finally joined Midnight Suns, and this take on the brain-munching symbiote is a comic book fan's dream. He's a great addition to any combat team, but one new character and three missions don't seem like enough given the asking price.

Atomic Heart is, most surprisingly, exactly what I expected. Its biggest strengths are the ones that treat the eyes, but great writing and exploration are welcome in an otherwise overstretched experience.

Wild Hearts treads familiar ground as you hunt one monstrous beast after another, but Omega Force has added new tricks and gimmicks that help separate it from the games it draws inspiration from. At the end of the day, it proudly stands as a unique experience with its own identity.

Metroid Prime Remastered is a few things, but above all else, it's a timeless masterpiece. It's also the best-looking game on the Switch to date and the birth of an entirely self-contained genre of first-person adventure games. Having missed my chance to play it as a child, I'm humbled by its grand designs, and I'm convinced this remaster will turn many would-be fans into true believers.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a short and fun collectathon that feels like the original cartoon in all the best ways. Frequent bugs and a tad too much repetition weigh the game down, but it's not enough to make it anything less than a good time.

2023's Dead Space remake masterfully treads the line between doing too little and too much to revitalize a game that has aged so well. Many of the mechanical changes will go largely unnoticed by the average player, but they do wonders to bring this classic back in line with its contemporaries.
