Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is not videogame literature. It's fanfiction—rough, unpolished, and unapologetically hammy. The Warriors formula is still imperfect and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate fails to iron out all of the flaws, but there are improvements. And as flawed as it is, there are few games—if any—that can stand up to Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate for pure beat-'em-up joy.
GoD Factory: Wingmen is a very welcome game to a genre that needed something like this to come along and bring out the love of space ship to ship battles again.
People will definitely compare this game to Halo and given that it's from the same developers, it's totally understandable. The game does feel like Halo and there's nothing wrong with that but unlike Halo, the game feels more on par to the Mass Effect or Borderlands due to the amazing worlds that you explore. It's a real amalgam and in the end, Destiny is probably the must have multiplayer game of the year which successfully merges a very strong FPS with MMO.
inFamous First Light is a great addition to the franchise and I for one hope that we see more of Fetch because she's definitely one of the most interesting and likeable characters of year. The story of this DLC works well, even though it does jump around and the gameplay is just as flawless from inFamous Second Son that not only looks amazing on the PS4 but sounds phenomenal.

If you love rich and complex management sims with almost unnecessary levels of detail, then you might want to pass on this; look towards the terrific Excel-spread-sheet-imitating Football Manager series instead. But, if you want to feel like your favourite footballers playing the beautiful game—or can't wait for football season and need to play-watch an almost-real match to scratch that itch—then FIFA 15 is the most visually impressive and functionally satisfying football experience out there. Y'know, apart from maybe being a football superstar.
Gauntlet is a fun game when you can find others to play and this modern interpretation successfully combines the best elements of the original and throws in a few 21st century twists. The biggest letdown of Gauntlet for me are the graphics which does seem a little basic. Thankfully the gameplay works, especially in four player co-op and if you're looking for a great walk down memory lane, than Arrowhead Game Studios definitely delivers one of the best interpretations of this classic arcade game.
Bad Blood adds a highly enjoyable multiplayer element to Watch Dogs, and if you were not a fan of Aiden's story, T-Bone's short but sweet campaign could change how you feel about the game as a whole. There's certainly a lot more room for improvement, but this beefy piece of DLC can easily keep you distracted for a while.
I feel like I'll be playing Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS for a long time to come. I've been playing this series since the original game for the Nintendo 64 and this game was definitely worth the 15-year wait for a version I can carry around with me. Ultimately, this game is a culmination of Nintendo franchises past and present and it's a really fun way to become a little more video game culture savvy. Buy this game and I guarantee you'll have a fun time.
Given the lack of Japanese RPG’s on the next-gen consoles, Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star will keep most fans of this genre appeased from start to finish with a whopping 100 hours of gameplay. Sure, there are a few glitches in terms of graphics and grammar errors in the game but overall, it ticks all the right boxes for a fun JRPG.
Tango Gameworks have successfully ticked all the right boxes when it comes to the survival-horror genre and the game is beautifully presented on the PlayStation 4 from its exceptional opening sequence to the twisted and sometimes sickening story of Detective Sebastian Castellanos. The relationship that you form with the game is one of love and hate that I could happily recommend to any gamers that want a true challenge on the PlayStation 4.

Project Spark is the XBox One's answer to Sony's Little Big Planet that both have their pros and cons. Little Big Planet is a little more refined and fine-tuned but Project Spark is far superior in terms of how easy it is to build various games and worlds. However where Project Spark really shines is through its replay value, especially with the ability to share and download games from across the globe which will definitely make this one very popular game.
Skylanders Trap Team is a well made arcade action title that successfully incorporates real-world action figures into the gameplay flawlessly. Sure, there may be additional costs but the starter pack gives players everything they need to complete the game. Even so, additional action figures are relatively quite affordable and just add increased gameplay value to the title.
Minecraft is truly a success on the PlayStation 4 that boasts accessible controls and a glorious interactive environment that will keep players attention for hours upon hours. Given that the game is available for around $25AUD, you definitely get value for money as you explore, build and conquer in the ultimate console version of Minecraft.

Overall NBA 2K15 is an excellent game packed with a variety of features that will easily keep you busy up until the inevitable 2K16 release next year. Where the game shines the most is undoubtedly its presentation and gameplay physics. The career mode alone has enough drama to keep you entertained and coming back for more, but most importantly the entire game is fun to play and never ceases to impress you even after long periods of play. Fans of the NBA should be rather satisfied with the latest offering from 2K, and even if you are not a fan of Basketball, I'd still recommend checking the game out.
Living and fighting and dying in an organic, dynamic world is utterly spectacular. Shadow of Mordor can offer nothing better than that: the plot is average, and side missions range from the severely limiting 'kill x orcs in this specific way' to the unreasonably tedious 'free these identical human slaves (again)'. But existing within this open world is a satisfying experience, purely because your enemies feel more rounded, more genuine. The Nemesis system is Shadow of Mordor; it's as simple as that.
