The perfect co-op game.

It's a huge step forward for the Pokemon franchise and demonstrates GameFreak's will to change the classic formula. But, in the end, it's not as flawless as we might have hoped.

The simulator part of the game is very much on point, the subject couldn't hold my attention. Throwing in the many bugs the Nintendo Switch suffered from I had little to no enjoyment out of this game.

8 / 10.0 - Yaga
Nov 18, 2019

Yaga offers a fun game filled with adventures and a great story. The battles can become a little too repetitive but in the end, it's a very enjoyable game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Bee Simulator
Nov 20, 2019

Bee Simulator is a very valuable and important game for the younger audience as it offers a crucial lesson in life. Learning more about the life of the honeybee offers a fun interactive learning experience and thanks to the variation in gameplay, it's fun to play until the end. It's a bit of a shame the game suffers from technical issues because those are really holding it back from being incredible.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is easily one of the best Star Wars game that ever released. It takes inspiration from games such as Tomb Raider, Dark Souls, and some might even add Castlevania to that list. Instead of just copying some key features, Respawn Entertainment really made it their own. This isn't just an adventure game with a Star Wars skin, it's a Star Wars game that easily combines some of the most impressive gameplay mechanics into one game. It's a no-brainer if you're a fan of the Star Wars universe and even if you're not, it's one of the best action-adventure games of this year, it's certainly worth trying!

In conclusion, Narcos: Rise of the Cartels may be the best TV/movie turned game I played in a very long time. I consider it to be detailed and highly intricate in its design. Keep your head cool or your team will take some hits though...

In conclusion, I did have a lot of fun playing Star Ocean First Departure R, had some frustrating times and some really fun ones. This is what represents the RPG genre for me, the good and the bad. Star Ocean First Departure R brings a classic back to the current-gen.

Darksiders Genesis is a decent follow-up within the Darksiders franchise. It’s really great to see that the developers wanted to try something entirely different in the franchise and I can vouch for it; it’s a fun game to play especially in co-op. The game runs fluently and tries to maintain its link with previous titles by using some of the same mechanics which isn’t always a bad thing. The top-down experience was a blast and I definitely hope they’ll continue with these experimental versions of a great franchise.

When I first got my hands on the Nintendo Switch version of one of the best racing simulators of the year, I really got excited. Too bad this quickly turned to frustration and disappointment. This version doesn't offer the same level of quality at all and suffers from missing modes and terrible technical performance in handheld mode. Yes, there's plenty of content to keep you entertained but it's not the best racing simulator on the system. Perhaps it's worth picking up when it's down to a lower price but at this point, it's not really worth your time or money.

8 / 10.0 - Breathing Fear
Dec 10, 2019

In conclusion, Breathing Fear is an oddball game. Not fun but very interesting is the way I would describe the game. In my humble opinion this game is perfectly priced at 5 bucks and if you want one big puzzle disguised as a 8bit action game, this is the one for you!

The game has some of the best music and a strong storyline to keep you entertained for a nice 50 hours average! If you did not get this game on the Wii U, this is your chance to pick it up for the Switch!

So, to conclude! Nobunaga's Ambition: Awakening is not a casual game; it's a deep, sprawling grand strategy simulator that will appeal to players who love historical complexity, like me! It delivers on its promise of letting you become a Sengoku daimyo. Fans of series like Crusader Kings, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, or Europa Universalis (or even Shin Megami Tensei's Pokémon Conquest, on the simpler end) will find themselves at home.

8.5 / 10.0 - Mario Kart World
Jun 11, 2025

It’s not the ultimate Mario Kart package some might have hoped for, and at this price, it could’ve offered just a little more structure. But what’s here feels fresh, considered, and ambitious. It clearly is the start of a new generation

If you’re new to the game, this is absolutely the one to get. But if you’ve been here before? It depends on how much that smoother performance means to you and whether you’ve got a co-op partner who’s just as ready to throw blocks with you for hours.
