Uncanny Valley is an interesting game that fans of games such as Lone Survivor and Claire: Extended Cut will certainly like. There’s a lot of content to experience in this PS Vita and PS4 psychological survival horror game, and every run will put you on the path towards a different ending as long as you remember what you’ve done before and what you’re going to do next.

Supermagical is a very fun puzzle game with a good variety of levels and plenty of content to enjoy. You’ll spend many hours just completing each of the available stages, and getting a three-star rating on each one will at least double your time with this portable release. If you want a good portable puzzle game, then I highly recommend that you get Supermagical. I look forward to playing the next release from Tama Games because so far they’ve given us two fun portable releases.

81% - HoPiKo
Feb 2, 2017

I had a lot of fun with HoPiKo. It’s a great arcade-style experience that can be played in short bursts between other larger and more complex games, and it’s very entertaining. There’s plenty of content in this indie release and a sizeable challenge for those of you who like to 100% your games. I’ll keep coming back to HoPiKo as I try to unlock the trophies I’m missing, and I’m sure I’ll have a blast doing so.

Is No Time To Explain fun? Yes. Is it a very challenging game? Yes. Are you going to die a lot as you try to get to the exit? Yes. Is No Time To Explain worthy of your time? Certainly. I recommend that you give this one a go on PlayStation 4 so that you can see what you're really made of. Also, if you like hats, even just a bit, then this is a must-have title for your collection.

I enjoyed playing Exile’s End on PlayStation 4 as it certainly reminded me of old-school games from “back in the day” and scratched that particular “more Metroidvania, please” itch. I highly recommend you get this one on PS4, especially if you’re looking for a game that will not try to over-explain things or to make your journey an easy one. If you want a challenge, this is the one for you.

We both really liked The Flame in the Flood: Complete Edition. It is a great take on the survival genre with a very charming and unique art style. With the procedurally generated river, every trip you take be different, thus offering a ton of replay value. The crafting system works really well and isn't as obtuse as in other entries in the genre. We definitely recommend that you play The Flame in the Flood: Complete Edition on PS4!

Bridge Constructor is a very fun puzzle game that will challenge players to find the best way to build bridges within their budget to maximize their resistance at the lowest possible cost. There’s a lot of replay value in here as you aim to do it all over again with the trucks – if you didn’t do it the first time – not to mention the heavier and larger trucks unlocked later in the game. The added content with the SlopeMania levels is also great for extending the life of this one, as is the case for the global leaderboards where players can try to improve their scores to rise in the ranking.

You know a game is fun when you're done writing a review for it, and you still end up going back to play some more. The Bug Butcher is an excellent arcade-style action game that is a must-have for PlayStation 4 owners. The bite-sized nature of each level makes the whole package highly addictive. You'll keep playing to get all three stars and to meet the combo requirement in a level… only to then aim at beating your high score, or beating the high score of your friends.

Regarding the game’s challenge and difficulty, I would say that Toby: The Secret Mine is challenging but never frustrating. It’s a short game, sure, but it has a lot of fun to offer. The developers have managed to deliver a polished game on Wii U. If you want a good puzzle platformer for your Nintendo home console, you should definitely download Toby: The Secret Mine!

I liked playing through Xenoraid and definitively recommend it to gamers looking for a good space shooter experience with the option for a lot of customization for your crew. The difficulty was fair, and I think it’ll please fans of the genre. It also contains a Survival mode which throws enemy ships endlessly at you. Oh, and purchasing this game nets you both the Vita and PlayStation 4 versions!

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is a relatively short game. You're looking at 4 to 6 hours at most before you're done with the game depending on how much you explore and with how many NPC you talk to. The game also ends on a cliffhanger that sets up a potential sequel. I loved playing the game for my Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today as I'm a big fan of point and click adventure games. Hopefully, the sales for the game have been good enough for the studio to work on a new episode of the series because I can't wait to see where the story continues!

2064: Read Only Memories is a lot of fun and very engaging. The story and the writing are great, and its diverse cast of characters will keep you engaged until the end. I enjoyed the game a lot, and look forward to replaying it as I try to get some of the other endings! It’s been a long time since this game was announced for PS4, but the wait has certainly been worth it!

Siegecraft Commander is a fun release that will scratch that tower defense/strategy itch on PlayStation 4. The game is easy to learn and very polished, which makes for a great experience on the console. The only complain I’d have for the game is that it starts out a bit slowly, but things pick up shortly after you begin your first campaign. It’s an entertaining release you should try on PS4 today.

The game is extremely fun but is the shortest and most story focused in the entire series so far. As was to be expected, lots of sections have been cut out. The PS3/PS4 versions are massive open world things with lots more content and collectibles, leaving the Vita version at roughly half the size. I have played the PS4 release, and while I like the PS4 version better since it's a much bigger world, the Vita version is very fun since it gives us a bite-sized releae on the go.

I loved my time with Clustertruck. While its premise might be simple, there’s plenty of depth and lots of replay value in this arcade-style release. The rush you get from landing that final jump that takes you over the finish line, or the feeling you get when you are launched sky high after grabbing onto a truck’s back and jumping just right, is highly addictive and will keep you coming back for more. So if you’re looking for an action-packed PlayStation 4 release, I hope that my Clustertruck review has shown you why this is a great game to add to your collection.

Overall Gurumin is a fantastic and really fun game. The graphics look great on the 3DS – especially so thanks to the 3DS effect from Nintendo’s portable console. There’s a nice variety of enemies to defeat, plenty of areas to visit and lots of puzzles to solve. There are several hours of content in this one, and you’re going to love every minute of it!

I loved Filthy Lucre. The stealth and action mix works thanks to the game’s setting, and the gameplay mechanics work. There’s a lot of content in this release, and with a Platinum trophy, you’ll be replaying all missions as you try to complete every secondary objective, ranking up with every success. There’s a considerable challenge in the game, and every mistake you make will allow you to learn a new strategy or two you’ll be able to use during your next try.

I enjoyed Claire: Extended Cut on PlayStation 4. It’s definitely a stressful survival horror game, but that’s what fans of the genre want. Sure, it might be short, but the game’s length isn’t a deal-breaker since it crams a lot of content into a short gaming session. Exploring the hospital as I tried to keep Claire alive and sane, finding new shortcuts, opening previously locked doors to connect each location… it all felt great in this indie release. If you’re looking for a short 2D survival horror game, then look no further!

80% - Virginia
Jan 4, 2017

I liked my time with this one for my Virginia review. Playing it a second time after having gone through it all actually allowed me to notice some details here and there that I missed the first time around – or perhaps it was that I didn’t know what they meant in the game’s story. If you’re looking for a different type of “walking simulator” then I recommend that you play Virginia on PS4. It offers an interesting and bizarre story with plenty of weird things to experience in a short package.
