Five years after the critically acclaimed The Climb, it's finally time to go back on a rock-climbing game. Exclusive to Oculus Quest, The Climb 2 doesnt't try to get to new heights as it offers only one new environment and it feels like it's kind of limited technically speaking. Still very enjoyable if you didn't play the first one.

Maquette has something special. It delicately tells a very credible story with some clever puzzles mechanics and brillant emotional moments - thanks to the performance of Bryce Dallas Howard ans Seth Gabel. But it's flawed by some painful pacing issues and some other problems that prevent it from being truly memorable.

Bravely Default II couldn't be through with the past, as shown by the JRPG's tradtional elements which inevitably, if not deliberately arouse nostalgia. While its wider, undulating world invites exploration, this episode seriously lays everything down, from the decidedly abrupt narrative to the extremely demanding strategical battles, exploiting the risk rewarding system and jobs' combination skills at full extent. Such kinds of class, whether wisely revised or exquisitely original, are worth it. Hence Tomoya Asano signs a deeply moving fairy tale intended for the genre's erudites, a beautiful proof of bravery.

After years of absence, Arthur is finally back. For good. Despite its realease on Switch, Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection is still an hardcore, ruthless and satisfying experience, thank to a clever mix of sticking to its roots and expanding its game designer. If dying a thousnad times to reach the goal sounds like your kind of thing, then Arthur's great return will for sure keep you entertained, and might graetly raise your level of play.

Cyber Shadow is an impressive old school ninja game. The kind of retro experience that can't be recommended to everyone, as it shines by being very very difficult, but a challenge that some stubborn players asking themselves if they still have good reflexes and memory will enjoy for sure.

Persona 5 Strikers calls back the beloved heroes of the original RPG in a sympathetic but sometimes rough beat'em all. Accross all of Japan, Omega Force's new crossover delivers a colorful follow-up which still lacks for true depth and originality, still sticking to the visual identify of its brilliant inspiration.

Thans to its many clever tweaks, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury give the player many reasons to enjoy a great 3D platformer, now a little bit faster, and with friends around the globe online. Let's not forget Bowser's Fury, a tiny open world adventure which rightfully mixes gameplays from the Wii U and Switch episodes, and delivers a strong experience with a twist.

Nioh Collection is the best way to play NIoh & Nioh 2 in early 2021. But if you have already played it, the interest is limited.

In many ways, Little Nightmares 2 is better than the first installment of the series. Throughout the six hours needed to beat the game, the player finds himself embarked on a whirlwind of opposite emotions, both terrified and blown away by the atmosphere that emerges from the setting, magnified by clever camera work, and by the general pace of the game. In addition, we can count on a satisfying and non-frustrating conclusion this time.

Control Ultimate Edition on PS5 is still a great game, and its enhancements are pleasant - Ray Tracing or 60 fps, it's up to you - even if we could have asked for something more with the DualSense. If you've never met Jesse Faden and never been to the Bureau, it's time.

Olija is truly a great experience, a delicious and clever Pixel Art Swashbuckler video game that offers a great setting, gorgeous visuals, a world and a story to love fondly. But sadly, it is really too easy and too short.

Behind Tohu's beautifully detailed, crisp yet intriguing universe stand some imaginative handcrafted puzzles that integrate brilliantly both into the environments and the rather straightforward, if not square story.

Could IO Interactive have ended the World of Assassination Trilogy better ? Probably not. Even if Hitman 3 sticks to previous episodes formula and plays it safe, keeping its usual flaws, it offers gorgeous and incredibly well-convceived destinations that will indeed please fans. There are so many good trails to follow, so many possibilities that you'll sure end up with the urge to try everything in order to go for the perfect kill. If you own Hitman 1 and Hitman 2, there is some serious amount of challenges waiting. A PlayStation VR ? Prepare for a game-changing experience.

Some puzzles prove trickier to solve than desired, if not intented, but Six Dots unveil a humble purpose through a dual approach in black and white - what is told, shown or not, while cleverly mixing the narrative with items combinations.

Super Meat Boy Forever is far from achieving the same result as 2010's classic. With a ton of hardcore but mostly random levels, the game especially suffer from questionnable one-button-does-it-all handling, and a lack of finished features. Too bad, because the Dark Worlds and manu secrets still offers to hardcore players a true challenge.

After being successful on Kickstarter four years ago and later on its Early Access, the first title of Sadsquare Studio really reaches our expectations. Filled with great gameplay ideas, the game always tries to find new ways to send shivers down the spine of the player. We're not so sure about the handling of the inventory but despite that, Visage prooves that it only takes some interesting concepts and a genuine passion for the genre to make great horror games.

Orwell's Animal Farm is a pleasant mix of Visual Novel and management experience, with some lovely visuals, music and a very good narrator. The fact that it allows you to retell the story is interesting. But as it still offers a good way to know what the book has to say, it can feel redundant, and a bit foggy in its intentions and mechanics.
