LevelUp's Reviews
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a good entry in the stealth franchise, but falls short compared to its predecessors due an uninspired level design. Nevertheless, it's a great closure for the Jessamine Kaldwin saga and the retribution story of Corvo Attano that fans of the Dishonored series will learn to love.

PES 2018 is a solid football experience but realism on the pitch can't make up for the lack of added value, general innovation, licenses and design flaws forever. The clock is ticking and PES is evolving too slowly by today standards.

Knack 2 isn't perfect but it represents a giant improvement when compared with the first entry in the series. The flexibility of the combat system and certain gameplay elements reminded us of the golden age of platformers on PS2, and that is definitely a good starting point to redeem the franchise.

The latest iteration of Everybody's Golf represents an evolution for the classic PlayStation golf franchise. The new character progression system is one of the most welcomed features on top of the robust online modes and the freedom it offers on the golf course. If you can look beyond the grinding, you can enjoy a very pleasant virtual golf experience.

LawBreakers' greatest attribute lies in its great low-gravity combat paired with a solid roster of characters. Having said that, the game modes lack any creativity, which results in a game that doesn't have enough charisma to define itself.

Underneath the odd blend of Mario with the Rabbids lies a very good SRPG. Its combat mechanics are frantic, fun and complex enough to make the whole campaign a joy to play. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a nice surprise, there is no doubt about it.

To the hardcore fan, Madden NFL 18 will be an inconsistent experience. For every change or improvement made in the form of Frostbite or MUT Squads, there's a raw aspect or a neglected aspect, such as the Franchise's inconsequential tweaks, the presentation shortcomings in Longhot or the irritating loading screens. If you are new to the franchise, on the other hand, this is a solid sports game.

In Matterfall there's a lot of explosions, tons of particles, fast paced action and an interesting mix of gameplay mechanics. Everything fits well with this Housemarque game but scarce content and lack of replayability refrain it from being a must.

Fundamentally Agents of Mayhem is a fun game, but Volition's effort to achieve great ambitions at the shadow of Saints Row cut off the the potential to do more. Its roster of characters poses a charming personality and the perspective it gives us of Seoul looks amazing, but beyond the meticulous options in personalization and the fluid combat gameplay, there is a lack of cohesion and too much repetitiveness.

Dense, immersive and beautiful, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a genuine surprise. With a unique atmosphere, outstanding sound design and solid controls, it could have been masterful had it not been for the creeping shadow of repetitiveness, an exhausting dose of backtracking and some frustration to stop it, especially towards the end. Having said that, this is a truly remarkable and affordable experience.
