The Blood of Dawnwalker executes its ideas brilliantly, to the point where you barely notice its limited budget, while delivering an RPG experience that can stand alongside The Witcher 3 in terms of its storytelling, atmosphere, and side quests, making it one of the most unique RPG titles of this generation

Elden Ring’s captivating magic is in your hands, but there’s one catch: its FPS could throw you off in this brutal adventure, especially coming from other platforms

While it starts out strong as a less cinematic but still stunning Uncharted line experience, the final act drags on so much with the story spilling its wheels and the stakes sequences seemingly stuck in a Groundhog Day loop, the game squanders a lot of its initial splendor towards the end.

Akatori may have a fantastic art style comparable to some of the finest HD-2D games, but this is where my high praise ends, as it fails to offer anything else that truly stands out in an oversaturated market

4 / 5.0 - Mortal Shell II
Aug 17, 2026

Mortal Shell II made a huge leap from the first game, making its predecessor look almost like a tech demo. However, a few questionable design decisions hold it back a step behind the genre’s heavy hitters

The game leans more on survival than pure horror, with environments that grow richer as you progress. Its engaging story and strong environmental storytelling make it one of the finest adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft’s unsettling world. Marvel Tōkon gave me the thrill I would expect from a Marvel vs. Capcom title instead, which pleasantly surprised me. It sets a new standard for tag fighters and raises the bar for the genre.

Beast of Reincarnation presents something fun and different, but unfortunately rushes its landing, resulting in an unpolished and forgettable story despite its enjoyable gameplay.

A competent update to a classic that is predictably starting to show its age, best played co-operatively. A short and sweet trip down memory lane.

An expansion that truly expands on the base game and adds immensely to it. This Doom revival has truly given us very different experiences that nonetheless are excellent in their own ways.

A well done shooter looter that adds enough Splatoon DNA to distinguish it from the rest with enough difficulty levels to appeal to everyone and short enough levels to make it flexible.

If there is a JRPG equavilent to Monster Hunter, then Granblue Fantasy Relink have always been one. Just for Endless Ragnarok to blow things out of the water and provide a post game that is worthy to be called as one of the most addictive JRPG titles this generation

Echoes of Aincrad is a fun action RPG, but it falls into the same trap as many of this publisher's recent RPGs: its open world. While the game offers enjoyable combat and a solid core experience, its open world often feels like a big hub that link areas together rather than a meaningful part of the adventure

An almost perfect JRPG experience that got an upgrade which barely uses the Switch 2’s capabilities, but at least did it better than Chronicles X's Switch 2 edition
