Saudi Gamer's Reviews

Oct 1, 2026

A fantastic JRPG that stands among the best the genre has to offer this gen, delivering everything I could ask for as a fan, even if there are a few moments where I felt it overstayed its welcome

It could be seen as a return to form or as a retread of the series’ glory days, but in any case it’s a fun and bloody good time.

3.5 / 5.0 - Bodycam
Sep 30, 2026

Bodycam looks great and its firefights are enjoyable, but missing gameplay features keep it from reaching it's full potential

It excels at creating a beautiful yet oppressive world with inventive puzzles that contribute to world building and an interesting enough story, but the primitive stealth might turn off a lot of players before they get to the good stuff.

4 / 5.0 - Orbitals
Sep 28, 2026

Short and sweet and gorgeous to boot, this co-op adventure while brief actually outshines the two games it takes inspiration from.

4 / 5.0 - Dune: Awakening
Sep 26, 2026

A massive and immersive survival experience in the Dune universe that benefits greatly from its new single-player mode, despite some repetitive environments and a steep learning curve

4.5 / 5.0 - Denshattack!
Sep 26, 2026

Denshattack! is one of the most enjoyable and charming indie games I’ve played this year. It delivers a fun arcade experience that combines deep gameplay with clever track design, an energetic soundtrack, and an appealing visual style. Despite a few minor issues, it’s the kind of game that constantly makes you want to replay its stages, improve your performance, and master them over and over again.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theves is everything you could want from an Ace Combat game: an arcade flight combat experience that is as exciting and breathtaking as it gets.

4.5 / 5.0 - Control Resonant
Sep 18, 2026

Topping the first Control is no easy feat, and while it’s debatable if it has, the fact remains this is one of the most unique experiences, a game that trusts you enough not to spoon feed you everything and rather give you enough breathing space to figure things out yourself.

A sprawling, epic and very ambitious journey that nevertheless requires you to like and be good at tactical games, but that rewards you handsomely the more you engage with its myriad systems.

3.5 / 5.0 - Marvel's Wolverine
Sep 15, 2026

A glitzy Wolverine game with a fun and violent fighting system, and some stealth, that is let down by too much hand holding and not enough faith in the player.

In a reversal of what the first collection achieved, this collection is light on content but high on quality, as MGS4 is presented in fluid 60fps and sharp visuals. While it might be the weakest mainline entry, it’s still a must try and this version is as good as any.

3 / 5.0 - NBA 2K27
Sep 5, 2026

NBA 2K27 is at its best when you're actually playing basketball. Once you get into the progression systems and extra modes, the experience becomes much less appealing.

It may not always keep its momentum, but Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters does a good job turning the anime's exaggerated football into an entertaining game.

Aug 31, 2026

The Blood of Dawnwalker executes its ideas brilliantly, to the point where you barely notice its limited budget, while delivering an RPG experience that can stand alongside The Witcher 3 in terms of its storytelling, atmosphere, and side quests, making it one of the most unique RPG titles of this generation

Aug 26, 2026

While it starts out strong as a less cinematic but still stunning Uncharted line experience, the final act drags on so much with the story spilling its wheels and the stakes sequences seemingly stuck in a Groundhog Day loop, the game squanders a lot of its initial splendor towards the end.

3 / 5.0 - Akatori
Aug 23, 2026

Akatori may have a fantastic art style comparable to some of the finest HD-2D games, but this is where my high praise ends, as it fails to offer anything else that truly stands out in an oversaturated market
