3.5 / 5.0 - Furi
Jul 8, 2016

The action, fast-paced gameplay and amazing soundtrack make it an entertaining experience, even with its inconsistent difficulty and repetition (sometime with the long boring walks) it's still a game worth trying.

The game delivers an exciting story with its wonderful and interesting concepts in addition to its entertaining puzzles. This installment may attract more players than its predecessors as it relies on cut scenes more than reading texts. I prefer the previous games (999 and Virtue’s Last Reward) more, and I highly recommend to give the whole Zero Escape series a try.

A decent remaster rich in content for a great game, even though it was controversial for changing the direction the fans loved about the series. the only flaw with it is the companion's bad AI, which makes the game aimed at those who has someone to play with.

4 / 5 - INSIDE
Jul 2, 2016

Inside is bizarre, beautiful, dark, and one of a kind. If you look at it from the outside, you're looking at a simple, beautifully drawn puzzle game. But you need time and attention to notice how deep the game is. I finished the game, and found myself drawn to replay it, and that's a sign of how good the game was. if you own an Xbox One (soon to be released on PC) then this is a game you should never ignore.

1 / 5 - Mighty No. 9
Jun 27, 2016

If you're a fan of the Mega Man series, then I recommend you check out this game when it's 5$ or less (and I'm very serious by the way). Otherwise, stay away and pretend it doesn't even exist.

A game the can be unbalanced in terms of gameplay and not so well done terms of performance and controls, but it's fast pace and craziness and some of it's new ideas makes it worth the shot. especially for those who are a fan of the series and want to play an online game based on the places from the series, and is able to accept the major flaws, but there are better options if you want to play an online game that has nothing to do with the series.

Trials of The Blood Dragon will offer the same experience from the crazy and funny motorcycle  series (Trials), except this time it’s in Blood Dragon's beautiful (and humorous) colorful world. This game added some good elements, such as driving tanks and shooting while driving the motorcycle. on the other side there are some negative elements such as the levels where it depends on jumping with characters from a place to another and avoiding obstacles.

The gameplay is fast paced and fun if it weren't for the slow battle system. I can imagine the game eight years ago being a unique game that's so different from others, but this sequel is only a redo of the same ideas that adds no value even with the Open World element, but it will suit those who never tried the first game.

A disappointment, and the worst game from a developer known for its quality output. It might not be the a total loss if you want a co-op TMNT game, but it's a terrible waste given the developer's reputation and the license involved.

Breathtaking visuals, thrilling events, and a clear if moderate improvement in gameplay. Nevertheless gameplay remains its weakest point, with passable gun-play, automatic platforming, simple puzzles and shallow exploration. This might not be the leap part 2 was, but it’s a fitting finale for the series.

It might not be the groundbreaking game part 1 was (or Demon’s Souls or Bloodborne for that matter), and it borrows heavily from past installments, but this third Dark Souls presents the best manifestation of its core values, with a huge world and an equally huge number of bosses and weapons. Some technical issues and not enough new ideas bring it down a bit, though.

7 / 10 - Quantum Break
Mar 31, 2016

Mechanically this might not be anything special, even with the time manipulation powers, but the world and story are enough to draw you in. This is a game that knows how to paint an interesting world and immerse you in it, with a good mix of fighting, exploration and branching cinematics.

3.5 / 5.0 - TrackMania Turbo
Mar 22, 2016

A fast and frenetic racer that emphasizes quick albeit touchy controls and gravity defying jumps, with a huge amount of content.

Still a classic, but probably one of the weaker Zelda. Overall a good remaster, albeit one with occasional performances issues, but a good release nonetheless.

3.5 / 5.0 - Far Cry Primal
Feb 21, 2016

A decent entry that retains the series' signature feel, with a large world brimming with activities and chaos, but lacks anything new to give it its own unique feel.

A good follow-up to one of the best fighters in recent memory, with a cast of solid old and new characters, tainted only by being short on content. As new characters and stages are obtainable via in-game currency, it's up to the player whether they want to start slow or wait until the content is there.

The best entry out of all 3, as the emphasis is more on stealth and there is more freedom, but it still suffers from weak combat and AI, and it's easy to fail missions making for a sometimes frustrating experience.

4.5 / 5.0 - The Witness
Feb 3, 2016

A truly unique experience that challenges everything you know about games. This is a game that respects the player and pushes them to do their best, with no handholding whatsoever. Frustration is likely, but when you do solve a particularly challenging puzzle, the sense of achievement is unmatched.

Some games get better with age, and nowadays it's not often a game attempts a slower pace, one where you carefully explore a relatively small but dense world. The enhancements to the graphics and controls are well done, making for a classic yet modern feeling experience, one that works well for veterans as well as newcomers alike.

A simplistic but beautiful take on the Assassin's Creed formula, one that might've benefited from being unshackled from the series it's based on.
