Going back in time is the reason why Battlefield 1 cut it’s way forward. The game surpassed its predecessors and became one of the best shooting games. The huge change in its core made the better overall, It offers a balanced and engaging story mode that delivers amazing visuals and stunning sound effects. Multiplayer offers various well designed maps, and fun gameplay that keeps entertained for long, especially if you’re playing with friends. This a must-play whether you played previous Battlefields or new to the series.

Still a unique game after 15 years of being released, and this version adds new modes and a level that is closer to a preview of a potential sequel. For those looking for a fast paced and challenging game, with equality quick and unique graphics and sound, this is a great game with VR as well as without it.

Mafia III has two problems that destroyed the game: its technical problems, and the repetitive gameplay. I still liked a lot about this game: its story, characters, the freedom of completing your objectives any way you want, and taking over its world. While its one the games I've enjoyed the most this year, it still had those two issues that negatively impacted the overall experience.

Gears 4 is one of the best action games of this generation, whether you played the previous installments or not. If you own an Xbox One or even a PC, then don’t hesitate to buy this game. Even if you don’t own any of these, it might be the right time to do so. If you loved any of the previous “Gears”, then expect a similar experience with a few additions.

PES keeps significantly improving every year, but in this installment they reached a level that qualifies them to compete with their popular competitor - FIFA. It still has its own share of problems such as bad online mode, and not having the rights to include many popular clubs, but that doesn’t affect it’s how realistic, simple or fun it is to play.

Forza Horizon 3 gave me the experience that I came for: Beautiful Open-World that contains a huge number of various and entertaining activities. The game has a huge number of varied cars, and encourages you to try them in different environments. If you’re looking for a cars game that focus more on the fun than the realism, then there’s no other game that competes with Forza Horizon at the moment.

Enhancements have been kept to a minimum, but the games in this collection still shine with their unique locations, combat system and brand of comedy, even if some design decisions, such as manual saving, have divided its audience. The first game is still a classic, but the sequel, in both its versions, is the one to get. Dead Rising 2 Off the Record is the most content packed one, and thus the recommended choice.

FIFA fans will love the improvements made to this installment. The new journey mode makes you feel like a real football player, and the visual upgrades makes the game more visually appealing overall. More importantly, the overall experience and the various small improvements makes FIFA 17 an excellent game.

The first Bioshock is considered one of the most significant games in the last generation. The sequel is fun, but not as good as the first one, and “Infinite” is a great conclusion for the series. While it’s sad to see this remastered collection suffers technically in all of the platforms, it’s still your chance to play an unforgettable series!

ReCore could've been much better if it had more time in development, as it still doesn't feel stable nor polished. But on the other hand, it mastered the basic elements of a platforming games. Anyway, the game is relatively cheap, so that might incentivise you to buy it if you like platformers.

A puzzles game in it's core where you solve puzzle after puzzle. The game starts in a beautiful and promising way, but slowly become repetitive. You’ll notice that the puzzles follow the same logic with small variances. I still enjoyed this beautiful puzzle game, and enjoyed some of its philosophical dialogues.

The game starts out slowly, and there's a lot to read, and not all of it is interesting, but it keeps what makes the series’ what it is, from great characters and music, a story that starts out weird and just goes crazier from there, and a unique gameplay system of using clues to uncover contradictions and ultimately the truth. As the 6th main entry it doesn't add a lot to the series, and some of what it does add isn't always a success, but if you're a fan of the series then this is an overall great entry, especially its final case, which is also its longest and most bonker, and a must play.

A charming game with a simple story. It starts slowly and is never challenging, and you'll spend more time backtracking than solving its puzzles. A good choice for those looking to relax with an artistic game.

Resident Evil 4 managed to make me tense, excited and surprised. Its great and unique gameplay goes from exploration and shooting to solving puzzles, so it’s hard to feel bored when progressing through the game as the content is varied consistently. It lacks more of the visual improvements you’d hope to find in a remaster, but it’s still a game worth going back to.

As a huge fan of the Anime, I really enjoyed this game and I'll probably keep playing it for a long time, which is why I'd highly recommend it to any other fan. However, if you didn't watch the Anime, or did so but didn't like it, then I don't think this is game you'd enjoy.

Just like its predecessor, the game offers great concepts and gameplay elements, but it fails to package them together decently. Don't expect much improvement here, as it still has most of its previous issues, as well as losing some of the features we liked. Still an OK experience overall considering the fun I had playing it.

As a platforming and climbing game this is an entertaining one, just like its predecessor, but overly sensitive controls and an uncooperative camera mar the experience somewhat.

Do you usually enjoy games that focus more on the artistic and symbolic side of video games, such as Journey and Abzu? Because this is the type of games who’d definitely enjoy this game. Otherwise you might see it as a boring and short (2 hours) game.

A great achievement in building a gigantic world that feels realistic, with stable performance in considering what the game is doing in the background. The whole game is designed through algorithms that makes the planets seem simple and pretty similar, plus the repetitive gameplay that doesn’t change much. If you don’t mind these two issues, then you’ll find a rich, deep game full of secrets to explore, with the all the things you need to do so.

A short journey in the depths of the ocean. A slow paced and relaxing journey, with a bit of action, accompanied by a calm soundtrack. The artistic scenery and soundtrack are best things in the game, the rest is either average or below average.
