For the domestic producers She Sees Red is certainly a huge step forward. But if you compare this project with other FMV-games like The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker and Her Story, the release of Rhinotales inferior in most parameters. And, of course, the most important drawback - the timing of 35 minutes per walkthrough – it's not so much for a game. However, if you want to try something new and watch an interactive movie with a good story before going to bed, then She Sees Red will be ok.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the quintessence of everything that the FF: Online team has learned in six years. A great story is so much more interesting than of the last single games of the series. Deep mechanics, an atmospheric world and a huge amount of content absorb all the attention, forcing you to stay in the project for a long time. Shadowbringers is not just an exemplary extension of this popular game, but also the best project in the genre for many years.

Light Fairytale - Episode One is a nice project about jRPG-nostalgia with recognizable mechanics and characters, which lacks dynamics, mechanics and subject diversity. Age of Wonders: Planetfall turned out to be more specific than the triquel. It seems that Triumph Studio managed to get stuck in time, steal some ideas of competitors and at the same time predict development of trends. However, it is still a very exciting game that will be interesting to fans of the genre. Especially it should be recommended to the owners of PS4 and Xbox One, which ignores by Sid Meier's Civilization.

A belated attempt to shift the epic fights from the anime to the format of arena fighting game once again failed. Like most similar games, Kill la Kill the Game: IF suffers from the primitiveness of the gameplay and the lack of content. Nice characters and special techniques looks good, and if you do not play normal fighting games, but love the original Kill la Kill, then you can try this game. All the others may pass by or can watch the original anime, which is still relevant. Surprisingly, the project was supervised by the masters of Arc System Works, who have a brilliant adaptation of Dragon Ball...

Paper Dolls: Original have a nice concept, interesting puzzles and well-reproduced atmosphere of horror, which is broken by stupid QTEs, inconvenient save system, not always clear tasks and completely useless game of hide and seek with an immortal pursuer. And, of course, the need to wait for new episodes will leave many unsatisfied. However, if you are hungry for the genre, you can try.

Battle Princess Madelyn is a good game with stylish retro graphics, cute characters and a variety of levels, which suffers from poor explanation of the rules of the world, terribly confusing navigation, understatement and a lot of glitches that make the stages impassable. However, we write something similar about one of the three surveyed games from independent studios. It seems that such an attitude to the audience for the modern indie scene has become almost the norm.

Anno 1800 is a very successful continuation of the cult series. With the returning to a more familiar setting, a creation of Ubisoft / Blue Byte discarded the strange decisions of past releases, while maintaining and multiplying the accumulated advantages. And, of course, great graphics and nice music will delight fans to meditate.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection is a great chance to get the classics of the genre and remember the old days. Castlevania III, IV and Bloodlines are fun to play even now. And the ability to record progress at any time is particularly useful in ruthless 8-bit games. It is a pity that there are no later projects like Symphony of the Night in the collection. However, it can be easy recommended to all fans of the series and genre of old school action-platformers.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is great action game with awesome graphics, decent set of weapons, huge bosses and good shooter mechanics. Levels have become wider and now there's even more nonlinearity, however the project suffers from a weak plot, repetitive random side-quests and character' level constraints. If you liked the previous games in the series or you are a fan of the genre, ready to put up with new problems, you can try. Especially since Youngblood is sold at a price twice lower than the usual release.

Layers of Fear 2 tries to be deeper and more complex than the original game, but in the end we have a completely bland chases, pixel-hunting and aimless walking on empty rooms. If you are looking for a new intellectual horror that will entice you for a few evenings, then from this project you should definitely stay away.

F1 2019 is another good annual release of the series, designed to work out the license and please the most loyal fans. If you are one of them, you can safely buy this game. Beginners who want to try it, can also buy, as well as those who have not played games in the series for a long time. But if you joined to the series last year and are not a fan, the improved graphics and F2 championship will not particularly justify the purchase. In this case, it is easier to wait for the next sale-out.

Redeemer: Enhanced Edition leaves mixed impressions. The developers tried to create a simple and fun cooperative beat 'em up, but a lot of technical problems, poor animation and boring boss fights prevent to get real pleasure from the gameplay. It may well appeal to fans of the genre, who will close their eyes to the shortcomings, but all the others are unlikely to be interested.
