Atelier Ruza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is a rather meditative story about friendship and mutual assistance, which abandoned timers, cruel search for rare components and a too complex system of alchemy. All errors can be corrected, death in battle returns you home with a slightly reduced number of components collected, and songs and dances on the background of the fire will fill you with the warmest feelings. Atelier Ryza is a great choice for beginners, but also potions veterans will not be disappointed for sure.

Broken Lines on Nintendo Switch is a project with an interesting idea, but ruined by a bad implementation. A fresh look at the combat system using smart pause could please fans of the genre, but endless technical problems, bugs and glitches just do not allow you to enjoy the game. The situation may be better on PC, but to be honest, we are not sure. We will make an update on the computer version later.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is an interesting complicated story that trying to explain World of Darkness to those who never experienced it. It may be helpful in anticipation of a full-fledged role-playing game in the same universe. Everyone else who does not have a sufficient level of English, is not ready to spend time in the local encyclopedia and read thousands of lines of not very simple text, it is better to take any early book of Anne Rice and skip the game.

Patapon 2 Remastered is a fun session game, witch suffers from poor video quality, as well as some elements of audio accompaniment. But it is still interesting to beat the rhythm and watch the actions of funny little men. If you liked this game on PSP or are a fan of the genre, we recommend paying attention to this remaster.

Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is a great collection for fans of PlatinumGames and those who have long wanted to touch the beautiful, but did not have the opportunity due to the lack of necessary systems. Support for 4K screens, dynamic gameplay, charismatic characters and spectacular moments should please all fans of the genre. It's a pity that some problems related to the age of the projects were not fixed when porting, such as sometimes blurry textures, but otherwise Bayonetta and Vanquish are still great.

The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a beautiful, promising introduction and a slow, meaningless story with minimal interactivity, far-fetched mysticism, and a frustrating ending. All that can sweeten a failure is the graphics, but there are also drawbacks. If you love a good and deep detective adventures, your princess certainly is in another castle.

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold is a nice portable Action / RPG with a good humor that is fun to play in co-op and small sessions on the road. Fans of collectibles will enjoy collecting hundreds of unique types of equipment and creatures-partners and fight with powerful bosses, but others may get bored because of the template research of dungeons and the lack of an interesting story.

Cuisine Royale is a good free to play online entertainment for fans of the Battle Royale genre and those who are tired with its other representatives. With decent gunplay the game suffers from the limitations of the setting, which is oddly combined with elements of heroic shooters, but further content filling and support for the game may well correct the situation.

Song of Horror - Episode 4: The Last Concert offers a good set of puzzles and new scenes of confrontation, but the mistakes typical of the previous parts leave a slight disappointment. Punishment for the thirst for exploration and bad QTEs that lead to the death of heroes is clearly not what you expect from a modern horror game.

The Pedestrian is a bright and addictive puzzle game with great music, but only when you play it in small sessions. This project will be perfect in a portable format when Skookum Arts finally releases it for iOS and Nintendo Switch.

For two months of my walkthrough of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe I managed to collect all the secrets in the main campaigns, the shoes of a cheerful plumber rammed tens of kilometers, but the desire to play the game again and again, overcome sadistic challenges, fight for every millisecond in time trials and take part in cooperative races does not disappear. Isn't this the epitome of the phrase "Classic is immortal"? In the eternal debate between conservatives and innovators, the Super Mario series decided to practice both approaches in parallel. And such a bipolar disorder only suits him!

Of course, the world of Still There has its drawbacks, such as pixelhunting with the search for keys, complex schemes, the understanding of which is necessary for solving puzzles, and too limited nonlinearity. However, GhostShark managed to create a truly addictive world with excellent music and characters whose story can offer several unexpected surprises. And this is more than enough to enjoy the gameplay.

Dry Drowning is one of the best visual novels of the 2019 thanks to a great story, a lot of choices and well-written characters that you care about and for which you make the most accurate decisions with minimal negative consequences. Music and style thicken the atmosphere of a dark future, where the world has long been on the verge of destruction. It is a pity that due to the lack of translation for most of the Russian players, this stylish story will go unnoticed.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a good gift for fans of anime and manga, containing a huge number of references and fanservice. But for everyone else – this is an unremarkable game that too quickly turns into a monotonous routine of constant battles and empty locations. If you want a really cool game based on the popular franchise, it is better to get acquainted with the magnificent Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Phoenix Point is a great tactical game with interesting diplomatic features and a user-friendly interface, which suffers from the same type of missions closer to the final and incredible peaks of difficulty due to an artificial intelligence system that adapts to your battle tactics and in combination with randomly created stages turns some maps into impossible challenges. I hope that in the console release this brutal level of difficulty will still be fixed.

Ash of Gods: Redemption offers a nice visual style, an interesting story in the style of "Game of Thrones", as well as tactical battles with card mechanics and great music. All this should appeal to fans of dark fantasy and tactical games. Bad controls spoils the experience, but if you love the Banner Saga and wanted something similar, then Ash of Gods should please you.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Ultimate Edition is a fantastic role-playing game with an interesting story, deep quests and a great world. It will definitely please all fans of classic RPGs. This is the case when the walkthrough can be made more convenient, but do not lose the depth of mechanics and complexity of tactics. The flexible features of the dialog system allow you to play it in completely different ways, and the only thing that spoils the impression is technical problems on consoles. But if you play it on a PC, you can safely add one point to the final score.

Knights and Bikes is one of the few games that you really want to play, but after 20 minutes you realize that it's all beautiful, cute, but boring. So you nod your head sadly, save your progress, and go to the main menu to come back in a couple of weeks and try again. And after a year or two, you can put a check mark that the game is over, when it suddenly becomes a cultural phenomenon. Or not.
