Pokken Tournament DX definitely deserves attention. Strange choice of available pokemons, lack of clarity of the picture in TV-mode and forgettable music, of course, disappointed, but deep gameplay mechanics along with a beautiful special attacks can quite quickly grab you and make you return to the game again and again.

Destiny 2 fixes most problems of the first game and becomes number one project for fans of deep and complex cooperative experiences on modern consoles. The game largely met our expectations, and in some aspects even surpassed them. And although developers promised more drama and epic in the main story, campaign satisfied us rather than disappointed. In many respects due to great work with locations and game mechanics, diversity and amazing alien worlds' vistas.

The warm atmosphere of the fairy tale, reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki's movies and Team ICO's games, great gameplay in the best traditions of classics from Nintendo and a stunning soundtrack make Owlboy one of the most interesting independent projects in the gaming industry of recent years.

Observer causes the most strange and mixed feelings. Remaining true to the chosen genre, developers perfectly convey the atmosphere of a gloomy technological future with organoid themes, drugs and virtual psychedelics. But boring walking sections, strange and annoying stealth, and some terrible visual effects, as well as a too weak main story leave a taste of disappointment. However, you should still try this game for the sake of side stories and a superbly transmitted atmosphere.

LawBreakers is an online arena of unprecedented rage and wild drive that, despite its high entry threshold and other shortcomings, is highly addictive. Its diffucult to call this game original, and it runs the risk of falling into the abyss of oblivion due to unreasonably low popularity. But it is fun to shoot and perfect the mastery of each class. Blezinski's team did exactly what the hearts of true fans of the genre require.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a very cute adventure that lacks a slightly deeper story, a variety of side quests and a simpler crafting system. The guilds idea is good, but confusing, and hiring employees is too expensive. Problems with the interface, as well as other flaws, spoil the initial exceptionally positive impression, but not so much as to drop the game before finishing.

Knack II looks and plays better than the original, and some scenes with QTE are really felt epic. But boring and repetitive sections of levels, monotonous platforming and flat plot disappointed us. However, if you plan to play a game in a co-op and you liked the original project, then you can add an extra score to our final rating.

Mechanics was nicely updated by the developers, but unfortunately, they failed straighten out the network code. But even so, Nidhogg 2 is a very dynamic and exciting game with deep mechanics and incredibly emotional gameplay, which will be a real revelation for multiplayer action games' fans.

Very high complexity, the lack of a strong narrator behind the scenes, the high cost of mistakes and the general monotony can leave many fans of the genre exceptionally disappointed. If you are ready to accept such problems and hungry for Portal-like games, then you can add one point to our final score. Otherwise, you can just just skip ChromaGun and pay attention to more interesting new games.

Mages of Mystralia developers did not just create a fairy-tale world, but also filled it with interesting puzzles, characters and story. Puzzles are closely tied to logic and a magical constructor and bring a lot of pleasure. But most importantly, we were presented with a great magical system, which allows you to create the most incredible and effective spells.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Episode 1: Awake is a bit different from the original, but at the same time the game is no less intense in atmosphere department, which slips a little at the very beginning, but then quickly picks up. If developers gonna keep the same level of production in the next two episodes, then one of the most interesting adventures of this year awaits us.

Yakuza Kiwami is an excellent remake of the cult classic PS2 game, with completely redesigned graphics, a new soundtrack and updated mechanics. Unfortunately, developers failed to completely get rid of the shortcomings of the original, which are expressed in navigation problem in the middle of the game and a small variety of locations. Nevertheless, incredibly charismatic characters and an interesting plot make this game very memorable.

Kona is a good game that shows where the indie developers and walking simulators genre should go. Sadly, developers didn't have enough money and energy to tie the ends of disparate episodes into a really worthy final.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice evokes the strongest feelings of empathy thanks to a great production, deep character development, animation work, special effects and unique sound. Unfortunately, boring tasks with runes and too simple fights in limited arenas with waves of enemies are not the best elements for an original and emotionally strong project. I hope that with good sales on PSN and Steam big publishers gonna work with Ninja Theory again and studio will release a game of DmC level or something even more great.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is an example of a great remaster that corrects the flaws of the original version, allowing you to get true pleasure. Even eleven years after the release, the game feels fresh and in almost all respects surpasses the Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XV. Even if you was disappointed with the original release for some reason, be sure to give the game a second chance. The Zodiac Age bersion is simply gorgeous.

Reservoir Dogs is an isometric action with tactical elements, which is repelled from one concept: enter the building, take the money and go out alive. Unfortunately, after the tenth same type mission this game becomes absolutely boring. Bloody Days lacks a full-fledged story, interesting and well-developed characters, and instead has broken game mechanics and boring missions. You simply have literally nothing to do in this project, even if you are a big fan of virtual violence and action.

Accel World Online: Millennium Twilight is designed exclusively for the fans of the original worlds, who are ready to have fun with their favorite characters and endure a poorly written script and exceptionally monotonous fights. Just do not say later that we did not warn you.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - beautifully crafted completely independent adventure, which has everything we love in the series. The game draws in an incredible maelstrom of events with exploration, puzzles, lively characters and stunning action scenes. And it's very pleasant that it was Chloe who became the main heroine of this story.

Matterfall is the first notable failure in Housemarque's career. There is not even a bright and technological graphics, which studio is famous for. This is faded, boring, artificially prolonged game with a bad save system and stupid enemies. Of course, you can spend three hours of your life on it, but it's better to just skip this project and pay attention to one of the much more attractive summer hits.
