The Sims 4 - Parenthood is a quite nice addition that adds more realism and meaningfulness to everyday life of virtual wards.

6 / 10 - GNOG
May 28, 2017

GNOG is a bizarre collection of puzzles with unique style, unusual concept and problems with game design. Developers simply forget to give necessary hints and tips to solve the puzzles. As a result it is very easy to get stuck in and start to experience unpleasant emotions. These feelings are compounded by annoying music, which consists of several samples and plays in a circle. Fortunately, the game can be completed without new-fangled VR-gadget, but you are likely to be disappointed in any way.

5 / 10 - Inner Chains
May 28, 2017

Inner Chains is a four-hour interactive journey into the world of fantasy of Tomasz Strzałkowski, devoid of motivation, balanced gameplay and an interesting story.

New LEGO City Undercover is not the best remaster of the original game. Updated graphics and co-op option is OK, but developers forgot to fix most of the technical flaws. If you have not played it on WiiU and you like LEGO, then do not skip Undercover. The implementation of game mechanics is still one of the best in the series, together with an excellent full translation into Russian language it can give you about twenty hours of wonderful experiences in cubic LEGO-world. On the other hand, the updated version does not add nothing really new, and if you played the original on the WiiU, you can safety skip the remaster.

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is OK for devoted fans of the original work, who rarely play games. For everyone else this is another dull project in the series - with the same type of missions and depressing monotony of the gameplay.

10 / 10 - Persona 5
May 22, 2017

Persona 5 is a monumental exemplary story-driven jRPG with a crazy design, unusual for videogame music and incredibly rich story, where you want to stay forever. A huge amount of content and new mechanics that open up as you progress through, unique dungeons, almost complete absence of grind and a great rhythm bring it on game Olympus. This is a major achievement in the genre at least for the last five years and one of the main contenders for GOTY 2017.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: DLC 2 - Continuum felt pale in comparison with the first add-on - Sabotage - due to the uneven level of quality of maps. And while somewhere you can see interesting ideas and pleasant realization, sometimes it is possible to observe very unfortunate things that cause only disappointment.

Dragon of the North is a nice DLC for all fans of Nioh, which slightly expands basic content and allows you to extend the fun of the project. With strong mechanics, the only serious disadvantage is the longevity. Anyway, if you liked the game, you can safely buy this add-on.

Forza Horizon 3 - Hot Wheels is a bright and fascinating arcade DLC with insanely beautiful graphics - a pleasant experience even after passing the final race.

6 / 10 - The Surge
May 16, 2017

The Surge is a good attempt to shift Souls mechanics into a world of a technological future, but a general secondariness, samely levels, problems with combat and boring enemies leave a touch of disappointment. In addition, the developers have not added multiplayer modes, which can be considered to be an obvious omission. However, to the credit of Deck 13, the game does not cause irritation, allowing you to spend time waiting for new additions to Nioh or a next project from Hidetaka Miyazaki.

The Sims 4 - Get to Work is a very nice addition that brings even more diversity to the popular sandbox. However, like previous DLCs, it's just a piece that was cut from the core game functionality, made with the patterns similar to the DLCs of the previous games. Get to Work should be one of the first to get into the shopping cart of any fan of The Sims, unless, of course, a fairly high price of 1,499 rubles is not a problem.

It remains unclear why Beep Industries decided to make a broken remaster of useless game, which few people remember. If you think of new gamers, a wide range of much better products is available to them on the market. In 2017 release of Voodoo Vince: Remastered is perceived as a bad joke. But if you still feel an urge to try out the game, we recommend to test only PC version.

7 / 10 - Prey
May 8, 2017

Prey offers to explore an interesting world of the space station with a very rich background, but occasionally prevent you to find out its mysterious vastness. Characters without depth, awkward inventory, a huge number of backtracking and too strong and annoying enemies, deprive you of the pleasure from the examine of environment. Unlike BioShock Infinite, Prey's main plot has no sharp emotions, shocking discoveries or memorable scenes. The game is absolutely bland and trying to copy the ideas from other projects, except for the first spacewalk or thirty minutes from the start. But it has something magical about it, forcing you to explore each area and solve the next side mission. If not for that strange charm, we would hardly spent as much time untangling the mysteries of the space station and its unfortunate crew.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is a great opportunity to look at one of the early games of the genre with a new hand-drawn graphics and a great soundtrack. If not for the lack of convenient maps and shortcuts next to the bosses and primitive by modern standards combat system, the game could claim the title of best remake of 2017.

We were worried that the new project from Giant Sparrow will be something like another Gone Home, but as it turned out, between these games is a gulf like between the old rusty tractor and a Mercedes. This is a small work of art, framed in a modern digital form. Two hours spent in it were some of the most vivid, rich, and emotionally deep in our gaming life. What Remains of Edith Finch is really so great.

The Banner Saga Complete Pack is a great purchase for those who have not yet had time to play the series. Interesting turn-based combat, beautiful design and fascinating story should appeal to fans of hardcore role-playing games. The “Survival Mode” looks like a good bonus that could entertain players until the release of the final third game. It is also worth noting that the Banner Saga 2 finally got Russian localization.

5 / 10 - Syberia 3
May 1, 2017

Syberia 3 is another useless sequel to the cult game. Some interesting puzzles and great music can't save the project, filled with scenario holes, crooked mechanics and technical problems. If you want to play classical adventure game, then choose a gorgeous Thimbleweed Park and last year's remake of King's Quest, where everything is done right. Or, alternatively, just buy the first Syberia.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier Episode 4: Thicker Than Water leaves a number of unanswered questions, flashing plot gaps and too prolonged foreplay, but a quick and emotional ending gives us hope for a really bright and memorable finale.

Original Mario Kart 8 made gameplay almost perfect, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe goes even further and improves the game to the masterpiece, offering a full set of arcade fun and allowing you to play at home and on the road, enjoying deep mechanics, bright graphics and phenomenally thoughtful and really interestingly designed tracks. It's hard to imagine what Nintendo should do in order to make the next game even better. Without a doubt, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best installment in the series and just an ideal arcade racing that will brighten up the expectation of a full new ninth game.
