Drag x Drive is a neat tech demo for the Switch 2’s mouse-style controls. However, its replay value is limited, as the mini-games and core basketball gameplay can only entertain for so long.

Mafia: The Old Country delivers the story-driven, cinematic experience Hangar 13 strived for. Despite, some gameplay and stability issues the engaging narrative kept us playing through the whole story. The only thing missing is more replayability.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers delivers almost everything a modern Soulslike needs to offer, but unfortunately nothing more than that in any area. The currently severe performance issues on consoles, the repetitive boss mechanics, and the overall too generic presentation significantly diminish the gaming experience. Genre veterans looking for a new kind of challenge may still want to give the title a chance

Shadow Labyrinth offers engaging exploration and smart level design but much of the potential is lost to clunky controls, poor hitboxes, and a subpar audiovisual presentation.

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is still and excellent rhythm game, that aged well. The lack of real new improvements and additions to these games disappoint a bit but for the low price you get two great games in one package and if you haven't played the original games, you should still check it out.

Donkey Kong's triumphant return to 3D delivers an incredibly fun experience. Minor technical issues are easily outweighed by the creative gameplay, the strong presentation and the perfect dose of nostalgia. This is the system seller the Switch 2 needed.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach reduces the classic Kojima weirdness and expands the gameplay variety and the impressive technical achievements. The main gameplay loop is still tedious in most parts and the more straight forward storytelling will disappoint fans of the first game. If you enjoyed Death Stranding and want to see how the story bits for everyone get unpacked, you should still get it.

The remaster nails the technical aspects but holds your hand too much, making detective work less engaging. While real-time combat is smoother, it lacks the depth of other Megami Tensei games. In total RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army offers an intriguing story but ultimately falls short in gameplay potential.

This rouge-lite card builder combines pipe mania, slay the spire and a game show to an amusing mixture that doesn't quite reach the quality of the genre giants Slay the Spire and Balantro. Still, Fans of the genre should at the very least take a look at the demo.

Lies of P: Overture is an successful addition to the main game, even when the way to the DLC itself and the balancing of the difficulties isn't perfectly thought through. If you are open for some macabre and challenging bossfights, including story revelations, that even reach into the present of the main game, you'll definitely have your fun with this.

The Switch 2 Version of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess adds besides the mouse controls, nothing new of value but it doesn't really need to because the tower defense concept plays out very well, even a year after the release of the game. Even when the town management aspect is tedious, you should try this exceptional game out.

Hypercharge: Unboxed brings loads of nostalgia, charm and heart and packs it into a humorous shooter. There is an incredible amount to discover in all the maps and even the character selection makes you smile at first. Unfortunately, the campaign can't quite keep up with this over time, but thanks to the co-op mode and the fun multiplayer options, you should still be entertained for a good while.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a fascinating multiplayer experience, which with the right group of players, can be the best gaming experience of the year. The amount of bosses and enemies from a big portion of the series, together with the amazing playable classes, lets you easily forget some of the technical shortcomings, that the studio sometimes lays themselves in the way.

Blades of Fire sadly offers very little, besides some small creative rays of hope and misses completely, when it comes to create interesting characters and a gameplay that can offer something new in a overcrowded genre. If some variety in boss fights and metroidvania-like exploration is enough for you, you can still give this a try.

American Arcadia offers a wonderfully well-designed world and the two completely different gameplay angles mean that it never gets boring. And anyone who thinks they know exactly what it all boils down to will certainly be surprised. Only some annoying passages really didn't have to be.

RoadCraft is an enormously fun playground for rebuilding something together, especially in co-op. Everyone has a task and drives one of the huge machines making coordination essential. But the frequent chaos also makes the game a lot of fun, even if the camera and long-term motivation take the wind out of the game's sails somewhat due to the repetitive activities.

Little Kitty, Big City is an absolutely loving and charming cozy game that is fully dedicated to the love of cats. Many little references will really make fans of the four-legged friends' hearts beat faster. Unfortunately, however, the gameplay is lacking, offering little more than fetch quests and strange platforming interludes.

Commandos: Origins is unfortunately an insult on console, as it is not really fun to play due to many technical inconsistencies. The very annoying controls don't really help either, even though a really solid tactical game with a high degree of historical accuracy seems to be hidden behind the problems.

FragPunk comes with a card system, a stylish look and aims to clean up the F2P sector straight away. For the most part, this works really well, as the matches remain fresh and there is never a dull moment. However, you have to be able to put up with the many microtransactions.

AI Limit is a solid Soulslike that scores with an interesting graphic style and a few cool features such as the sync system. The story can also do something from the second half onwards, but overall the game just feels a little too unoriginal and familiar. However, if you need some fodder in the genre, it's a very good snack
